Hey all,
Well I've been gone for like 2 weeks. Since my car broke down four days in a row, I decided it was time to fix it. The fan belt keeps falling off because the damn thing leaks so much oil it just kinda slips off. When the weather gets to like -30 oil becomes kind of like caramel and sticks to everything in your engine.
So I get my car in a family barn we turned into an auto shop and take the oil pan off so I can reseal it and stop the leak. Then I find out the ****ing thing has a crack bigger than my hand at the bottom. So now I gotta shell out like 350 bucks to buy a new oil pan. I find this out AFTER my car leaves me stranded on the side of the road in a -40 windchill fixing it in a t-shirt.
On a lighter side, I managed to recompile my kernel the other day. For anyone that doesn't know yet, it's FREAKING EASY. I compiled tcp/ip, my sound and video drivers, my ethernet drivers, and crypto routines into the kernel in like half an hour never having done it before. Kudos go out to anyone who had a hand in making the xconfig program.
That gave me one hell of an ego boost anyway - fixing my car in a -40 windchill and recompiling my kernel in the same day. Not many people can do that. And I found 20 bucks in my pocket today doing the laundry I didn't know I had.
Well that's my rant for the week. Hope everybody was having a grand ol' time while I was swearing at my car.

They are most likely Jealous of you and your mood and think if they are not as happy as you are they will try like hell to take it away from you or make you as miserable as they are.
