A Plea to the new members

i disagree... people have posted non-security threads in general chitchat since it's conception... because that was the point of it's existance. note that it is "chit chat" meaning random banter not "general security" yes many of them are useless... but to someone they are important. just as some may view this thread as useless... but it is important to the peopel who have opinions on it...

i think sarinmage said it best... there are good threads and bs ones... and there always will be.... at least most of them are contained to the general chit chat section... there was a time when people posted there general chit chat in any forum they wanted... (ah... the days of oblio) but there are few here old enough to remember that....

JP PLEASE HELP>>>>>>>Make our frot pages customizable so that we can see the type of threadss we like......I happen to like that idea. that way we won't hear any more about useless threads....cause they cut down on the good threads we do have.....No offense prod, but good threads are rare right now....../me longs for the days when i was a newbie and there were tons of good threads....maybe i ought to start searching and reading old threads. hmmmmmmmmmmm. I can still learn from them
