That is not the same thing ... That to me is a trick question and you know it .. You basically set the question up in a way that it's a win-win situation for you no matter what he says ... How about if he manages to help both you and his child ?? What would you say then ... Ohh the circumstances would be life and death situation so therefor he can only help one of us blah blah ... Spin spin spin until you win is that the game ???

It's a trick question regardless and it is life or death.... In the question you can't afford to help both.... in the real world... we can't afford to help both... Dalek pointed out about the homeless in Toronto freezing to death... Had money we'd given overseas stayed here.. that could have changed... When you talk family, loved ones, friends... a person will always decide to stay "local".... When you talk the world.... you're a bad person if you want to stay local...

Are we doing both? Could we afford to do both?? If we can afford to do both.. then by all means.. we should... but when there are problems here... Health Care, Education, Homeless problem... etc... if we can't fully fix all those.. then no.. we shouldn't be doing both... fixing one problem in it's entirety is better than two half-assed fixes...
