LOL - I was just attempting to concede something since the homophobia seems to be running deep here.
Anyway, I'm done debating, although its fun and productive, we have a sense of the stances that are being taken here  , and since the same people are responding over and over, I feel I've reached my end. I will keep reading though.

EDIT:
One question, lol.
Roadclosed, I know where you stand and how you feel, but you would go as far as supporting the proposed amendment?

I am undecided. At present the climate is hostile. I would support an amendment that says all parties have equal access to law and civil right, and you know I think it's a civil right for men and woman to keep their definition of marriage as legally stated and handed down for millenia or at least Centuries in this country. But my support will only happen if a concept of union between gay couples is addressed and aslo protected and granted. It's a new concept that deserves new definitions and laws to protect their union and provide exact levels of health care, finanical benefits etc. I support that and always have. So if those items are met, then I guess the answer is yes.
\\edit: I don't see my thoughts as homophobic, but then again I am not gay. I mingle in gay circles and my thoughts are pretty much forbidden. They are taboo, in a mini society that relishes in what they call tolerance. In fact the one's I hang with are party animals and "marriage" is the last thing on their mind. :)

She's right, my ex was one kinky bitch. It was the first time I had been hand cuffed without going to prison :D
All tied up, chained down, hand cuffed, and whipped like a dirty bitch....Well, I'm going to make a phone call, bye for now!
"Should there be a same sex marraige amendment"
How about, "Should it be anyone's damn business what people do with their lives when they aren't killing anyone or hurting anyone?"
