damn, i'm installing Soldier Of Fortune double Helix and the ms-dos setup runs like 30 minutes already and it ate 985 MB from my Hard Drive, and it's still eating, it better be a good game.

tried playing battlefield but i'm to drunk to remember what button's to push so i died like a million times while trying to fly those damned helicopters.

Damn, the setup just finished and it compressed all the files so no the game is like 489 MB. So i't all good, im gonna go play it now.

DAMNNNNNNNNNN, ok i installed the game and got the nice Cannot load OpenGL subsystem error, ok i fix that. Then i messed something up with msconfig, no drivers were loaded, so i think it's because i installed new display drivers, so i uninstal them still bo sound, no services, no system logs, network down, nothin works, so i figure that out but in the mean time i deleted the game, so now i have to install the game again, i also got the error "Sorry, but SoF2 has encountred a problem and need to close", hope i dion't get it again cuz i just repaired everything, everything works fine, execpt IE loads a bit slow so now i have to download Mozilla Firebird. :)

2 more post and i'll have my 1337 post :)

Hehe I still have to go out and buy the game but once I do I think I am going to most likely play it online more fun that way talk trash and kick some ass Muhahaha

I use Game Spy to find games to play, but you can also use the multiplay feature in the game to search for games. I use a server called Texas Combat Crew. Its a fast good server. Let me know if you get on, so I can kick your ass. I usually score above 25, my highest number of kills was 60. I rule. muahahahah

Anyone know how to use wine after you install it? I read a thing that said to type wine windowsprogram.exe, but it doesn't work. Do you have to reboot Linux after you install software?

If I remember correctly, wine has a .conf file somewhere to which you need to add the mounted drive to a list, otherwise wine doesn't know that your drive exists.

I haven't used wine in a while though. I could be wrong.

Well I think I'm gonna go shoot my ISP. I traveled 18 miles just to use my DSL connection in town, and I get there, use it for 15 minutes then it goes out. lol First it wouldn't take me to any sites, it would resolve the host name, but that was it. So I rebooted my router, and computer, and DSL modem, then it wouldn't even connect. I tried calling the ISP but they said that due to high call volume it would be a while, even If I went on hold, I would get a busy signal from them. So that didn't work.

So now I'm back home again on my 56k dial up. lol

Thanks striek and deadaddict for that information. I'll play with it tommorrow before I stuff myself with turkey :D

One more thing I might add that I've never seen before on my network. I was using Ethereal to sniff the packets when I was having problems, and what scared me was after the IP, and other stuff is displayed, where it tells you about the packet, it said Who has 192.168.1.1? Tell 192.168.1.2. Then every once and while betwwen that , it would say something like Netbios-ssn ID Nbstat sent and a buch of other weird things.

I saw them live at Ozzfest and then again at Summer Sanitarium. They're even better live. I remember at Ozzfest, when this guy passed out and nobody bothered to do anything, they stopped in the middle of a song to tell people to pick him up and help him out if wanted out of the crowd. And then at Summer Sanitarium this guy broke a leg close to centre stage and they were the guys who made sure he got out safe. They're really cool.

And did I mention Nightfalls_Girls is obsessed with their song Numb?
