Diablo, sorry to say, but i don't believe what u wrote .
i garantee u , if a human been born muslim he'll never convert to other religon, unless his mother is a jew for example.
or he wasn't aqa muslim from begining.
that's my belifes.
as for terror, islam never was a religon of violence.
why should we believe in he who speaks in the name of islam, does anyone speaks by the name of islam means he is honest or he is realy cometted to islam.
i don't think so.
if u want to judge on islam, u have to read and search for the truth.
.. why did u believe in christianity, ... well, u didn't but coz'u've been born like that .
thats why i believe in islam more than any other religon and u believe in chrestianity more that any other religion.... and life goes on.
when u r born muslim , jewish or any. this by nature give u the 90% of ur believs, and only 10% for ur mind to think it over again , -- if u had the chance --
what do u think ? Diablo

bimmer - lol you don't believe me? fine that's your perogative, but I know the truth and that truth is I have seen plenty of Muslim converts to Christianity. Why do you think there are some many active Christian missionaries in Muslim countries, it's certianly not because they are not successful.
Why do I believe in Christianity? If you had read what I said you would realize that I don't believe in Christianity, I am an agnostic (not a gnostic). No I wasn't born in to Christianity, good assumption but incorrect nonetheless. In case you don't realize what an agnostic is, it's simply a person that doesn't believe you can prove or disprove the presence of a higher power. I don't know if there is a god out there, but the way these various "religions" bicker on about it and kill others in the name of their "God" I certianly hope there isn't. That's just my opinion though... and I have shared this with some of the Muslims that I know... of course they call me an infidel (all in good nature) and try to convert me.
Who is to say what religion is right? Don't you all believe in the same God anyway, just different interpretations of it?
Oh and I think you are entirely correct in saying that if you are born in to a religious thought process that it's difficult to break out of it or think outside of it. I guess you can say I'm the same way since I wasn't born in to any religion per se. I have read up and studied the various world religions and have formed my own opinion about them. I don't subscribe to any one belief system but like I said they all have some very worthy tenents in them that people should follow even if they aren't religious in nature. i.e. Be kind to your neighbor, don't kill others, etc.

Dr Toker, why do we give $4bn to Israel? And that's just the official figure.

The USAID Program
The United States, acting through the USAID, will provide $720,000,000 in FY 2002 funds to Israel as a cash transfer. These funds will be used by Israel primarily for repayment of debt to the United States, including re-financed Foreign Military Sales debt, and purchases of goods and services from the United States. The U.S. State Department will continue to encourage Israeli reform to reduce government spending and deficits, to improve tax and public wage structures, to increase privatization, to reform labor markets, and to continue to liberalize its trade regime.
These are the people who's desks this money goes across.I have even left there international phone numbers available if you would like to speak with them to verify that I am not leading you astray.
