spyder32, yes, i was serious, how do we properly filter out anything beyond what we are exposed to in the media; okay, what wer are fed? while, yes, i realize that this thing in human skin does not truly represent, or at least i hope, the vast majority of the followers of Islam, how can you truly know he does not? we are led to believe one way or another, depending on the media outlet you choose, but how can we truly tell? those who may be our friends or allies, may be only in camoflage, waiting to attack at the right moment, shouldn't we be at least a little paranoid? then again, i do not claim to know anything, so you can just disregard my ranting. also, i do appreciate your comment, as it makes me question my own thinking and i wish to caution myself against stereotyping; i just want to have the "right" level of paranoia going through my veins as we all have to deal with this threat in some form or fashion. annnd, i'm done.
Whoa.. I won't even debate you then. Paranoia is one thing.. but to say a man's radical words represents an entire religeon is a little far off. Considering in the same media you are speaking of, many Muslims CONSTANTLY denounce EVERYTHING Bin Laden and all his followers say. Yes, please caution yourself from stereotyping. It's okay to be paranoid in a sense.. but yeah.
