Im gonna wait until I have more information on how secure Palms are.... In fact im gonna go make a post right now :)
My fiance gave me a visor for our engagement & it rocks. I love the versatility of the springboard port!
Recommend.
I currently have an compaq iPaq. My opinion? The ipaq kicks palms and other pda's asses. Even though it runs on a windows based OS, it still is good, and plus you can install a linux based OS if you want to.
Cheers!
:D
Dont have but i want an iPAQ, put linux on it....... :) then telnet to my server
fun :)
Started with an HP palmtop back in 97. Didn't like it so I got rid of it a couple months later. Then got a Visor Delux in 2000. Replaced that with a Visor Prism in 2001. Now, I am using a Sharp SD5000. It is already running linux so.... :D
I got a palm m100. works good and handy to have, but of course could be better
i develop programs for the palm pilot, mostly educational programs and utilities for the medical industry
I've had my Palm since xmas and have it with me wherever I go....
I do wish that I could put Linux on it and have actually looked over the net for anything....
Also, I must admit, PDA's like iPaq and Visio have their advantages since they support windows based programs....such as PocketDoom (Wish I had that!)
But, I have noticed that the battery life on other PDA's, especially color ones, don't seem to last. Someone I know purchased a Casio and it's battery life is approx a little under 1 hour....
Those who have PDA's that are not Palm, how long does your battery last?
linux for the palm is around somewhere, were actually going t oswitch to it here
