Connecticut Dot Com Supports Animal Cruelty

How can I go about getting a website shut down for supporting cruelty to animals? There is a connecticut company called MooCRU (www.moocru.com) that has a banner on their front page claiming they kill kittens. John (owner) of moocru also shows people video tape of him beating a kitten to death with a baseball bat. Can someone please help me find the information to get that content off his site or shut them down.

I've attached a copy of this sick advertisement he has on his front page, just incase he takes it down. This will give you a chance to see how sick this guy John really is.

You can't shut a site like that down. The Internet is self-governed (for now, at least), and there is no high law that you can report this type of thing to. The only thing they can get in trouble for would be if they are violating the terms of their hosting providers, which they quite possible could be, and in which case you would just have to email and notify the admins of the hosting provider and they would surely take the site down.

how can I find that information out and what information am I should I send to them.

Its probably just out there for the shock value to get you to their website. Their videos and images links did not work for me.

Also: all you can really do is complain to their ISP. If the site goes against their rules, then you might have some ammo to shut down their site.

my appoligies for my comment then. your best course of action would be to contact the aspca in the town that this happened in and the local dept. of animal control and/or the police dept..

They said that there is no proof that he committed the act of beating a kitten to death. The person in the video nor the photographer filming cannot be seen. It shows hands a bat and a kitten.

send anti "animal cruelty" messages to: [email protected] (maybe that will help!)

another thing you can do if he is not in direct violation of any of his hosts terms & conditions is email other companys being hosted by the same company showing them what type of site their host is giving space to.

Ask these oher companies to petition the host asking for the site to be removed as in their best intrests as well......do they want their company associated with this type of thing?

The pressure from the other companys (on their wallet) could be enough to egt them to remove their hosting of the site.....
