i want to know the way by which spoofing is done .I mean how can i change my ip address to a desired ip address on a dial up connection.

I think this is an interesting subject....I've never done it or tried to learn about it, but my uncle once changed his IP address to the add of his boss and then surfed porn, and logged it and somehow framed his boss all for the fun of it. As far as I know nobody got in trouble but I thought it was pretty funny (although somewhat stupid). So other than hiding your identity or framing somebody I can't think of another reason for why you'd want to spoof your address.....so why would you expect a bunch of people interested in maintaining the security of the net to explain how to spoof your IP?

the simplest way to change ip address here is by redial the isp, then u can get another ip address. but sure, u dont want to terminate the existing connection right?
