Can I use avatars from other websites, and how do I load them in?

A) Welcome to the site.
B) Search the site before posting questions like this.
C) Please read the FAQ.
D) You need 10 posts before you can use a custom avatar... when you get 10 you should click on you avatar on the index page and on the bottom you will see an upload avatar option.. rest is self-explanatory.

After checking the FAQ I see the number of posts has been moved up to 45.. I apologize for my error... it was 10 when I joined...

yeah, you're going to have to save it to your HDD first, then upload it from there :)

That is odd I have the option of uploading a custom avatar and I am at 17 posts. I have not tried doing it yet could it be a bug of some sort?

I got that option when I had I guess about 10 or so posts The faq could be wrong

Ok I am half way there I checked and this is what it told me
You need to have registered for at least 10 days with a minimum of 10 posts before you have your own custom avatar.

Well it worked for me Of course I have been here longer than 10 days and Have more than 10 posts :D

I know I should have searched the forums first and I thought there was a place to type in what you were looking for and click search. I couldn't find it and I was about to ask but I didn't want to sound like I didn't know more than one thing....anyway, I found it.
