Why must schools insist in using only macs?...what the hell is so god about them?..they are a pain in the ass..and they suck.....please explain..
Just a couple of questions..
1. Why are they a pain in the ass? Is it because you know nothing about them? Maybe you should be spending your class time learning about them instead of posting....?
2. Why do they suck? Is it because you can't figure out a way to mess with them? See question #1.
3. What class is it that you are taking that you are allowed to troll the internet posting...well...mindless drivel? Again, see question #1.
4. Is this some kind of brilliant sociology experiment about the behavior of people when they can hide behind cool nicknames? Again, see question #1.
Oh, and welcome back....did you just get your computer privelages restored? ;)
I'm sure if you ask the people at your school, who are responsible for puchasing, you will probably find there are very sound economic and educational reasons for their decision, and this would apply to any educational establishment who favour mac's. Meanwhile, here is something for you to read.Quote:

I don't understand..you can access any folders, or everything is locked?
Please, you know more about them than I do...educate me.
Well, I for one like MAC. I agree since I was born and bred on windows and alittle linux switching over to a MAC is somewhat more difficult but nothing a few days can't handle. It is unclear as to what you are saying in that you can access everything or everything is locked

As for you question being logical. Yes, it can be logical question but by stating that they suck and they are a pain you have already closed your mind to the answer.Quote:

Irish - What kind of education institution are you attending at this present time? (I.e. Grade School, Middle School, High Schoole, College, Tech School, ETC.) ?Quote:

Every 1 has a freedom of choice. Don't like it, don't use it. :-)
yeah my school is all macs and i hate it. Although they do have some really cool features like backgrounds that rotate (great for softcore porn) and they do have some alright free games (pocket tanks, reckless drivin), they are pieces of **** that i dont understand. I had a mac before, and i was really good with mac os 9 but when X came around and i got my PC i gave up on learning all the new stuff. However, macs do come along with the developer tool which you can code up things in and compile them in java or c++ so that is pretty cool. also, macs can take PC floppies and stuff like that (although all Apple makes now are cheap macs with no floppy disk drives so what is the point?) Basically, i use to be a mac lover, then X came around and i cant stand the ****ing icon bouncing up and down at the bottom of my screen. I guess it just takes some time getting use to :) I agree that macs have their purposes in life, but PCs have everything i want and need.
