Uninstall the apps that placed them there, or edit them from the registry. Which version of windows are you using? I seem to remember a check box or something to clean up the listings. If you are running win 98 then I am sure your only option is to try my first suggestion. Personally I would ignore them and move on. :D
<edit>I just looked at your profile and noticed you are using win2k pro, my win2k pro that I am using never has had the msconfig program. Where did you get one for win2k??? </edit>
2000 pro ok i'll try to do what u said thanks
I guess I was editing my post when you were replying. I wanna know more about msconfig in win2k...
anyone?
Windows 2000 does not come with msconfig. My understanding is that you can copy the XP version off onto a 2ki box and it will work fine.
I did not bookmark the link as to where I got it, however if you like I can try to email you it.
Really?! That is about the only thing I really missed after installing win2k. Thanks.Quote:

it should be 154kB and you can find it in c:\WINDOWS\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Binaries\msconfig.exe on most XP Pro systems.
Thanks Irongeek, isle_of_infamy already sent it to me. Thank you both.
If after all that it didnt get rid of the items you have to actually delete them from your registry for them to actually disappear.... on windows 2k its only in one place I am aware of....
BEWARE DONT EDIT THE REGISTRY UNLESS YOU HAVE BACKED IT UP AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING
HKLM>Software>Microsoft>Windows>Current Version>Run
delete the entries that you removed
In XP you have to also go to
HKLM>Software>Microsoft>Shared Tools>MSconfig>Startup reg
Delete the folders that you wanted to uncheck and no longer have run on startup or show up in your msconfig
