I wish ours didn't take so long to git-r-done. If they are proven guilty using all available means, jury, dna, etc., and sentenced to death, then lights-out! Do it! And why on earth do we need to be humane about it. The perp wasn't!

1. Arson in Her Majesty's dockyards
2. Endangering the Royal Succession
3. Piracy on the high seas (arrrrgh Jim lad?)
4. High Treason
I am not sure about genocide, although I know we are a part of the International Accord against it.

I used to be for the dp but not any more.
I like to think we're above think that an eye for an eye will redress the balance.
But more importantly the dp is too easy. For some people their lives should be 'hell on earth' and we should so everything we can to keep them alive and suffering as long as possible.
