i love my job with geeksquad
especialy because i get to beta test windows vista... and the new MS office
now you may be wondering... "i thought this thread was about WoW"
it is...
i got word from my managers today that my precinct along with afew others with geeksquad will be beta testing the new world of warcraft expansion...

I just quit wow...to much damn time you gotta put into it. I had a lvl 60 UD warrior with Tier 1, Tier 2 gear, and some bits and pieces of Naxxrammas and AQ40 gear.
I gave my account away lol.
With 2 semester of school left I got better things to do :)
I never been a WoW big player. I played it for a lil while. Didn't get much into it. I am more a final fantasy XI person. I love the game. WoW was just too easy. I do think beta testing an expansion would be fun.
I thought about trying to get a job with geek squad. But, I think having to deal with end-users all day to be about as fun as having my hair cut by a blind man.
I tried to play WoW, really I did, it just couldn't keep my attention. After 20 days of playing I just uninstalled the game. Beta tests are fun though.

yeah.. im loosing interest in the game fast... unless im looking down the barrel and pulling a trigger it doesnt hold my attention long
eve online was a fluke... i put over a year into that game..
as for geeksquad
hells yes i love my job.. certain aspects i would like to change (paperwork)... but otherwise i love it

Heh, i had 60 UD lock in full Tier2/Staff of the shadow flame, until one day i thought "Hey, im waisting my life" and i quit and sold my character for $540. :)
Never really got into WOW. The players were too immature, still my son plays it a lot. I play anarchyonline. It is an older game and the graphics are a bit more dated but it is a lot more complicated than WOW. Also the original basic game is free to download and free to play and there is as much content in it as there is in WOW.
Still enjoy the beta test it is always fun when you get unexpected results.
i attempted to play it not that long ago, but it was just one of those games that in the end didn't entertain me all that much, got boring a little to quickly for my liking..
But my current missus is addicted to that game, when she isn't playing it, she talk's about it..
I bet she'd kill to be able to beta test this expansion thingy. lol
