Does anyone know any good non-fiction hacking novels? (I find non-fiction much more interesting than fiction cuz it's true).
I have read one, 'Cuckoo's Egg: Tracking a Spy Through the Maze of Computer Espionage' -- by Clifford Stoll. That was a very interesting book.
Any others?
Its not a story book type but there are some areas with short storys of them hacking but its a scecrity manual called Hacking exposed second edition my bible. now there is 2000 out.
The cyber thief and the samuri - its about Kevin Mitnick.
Masters of deception - pretty good book about hacker group wars in the early 90's.
The Hacker Ethic
Well this is not really a novel, but it's a great book about real hackers. It's by Pekka Hinamen and has a forward by Linus Torvalds.

Not sure if you are looking for something like this. But it is a good book. And recommend it to everyone.

Is more what you are looking for I think. Although I can't tell you anything about it, since I have only browsed through it.
"Take Down" :: Author: Tsutomu Shimormura
It's about Tsutomu, tracking down Kevin Mitnick, and what he went through while tracking kevin.
"Nerds 2.0.1" (I think is the title) :: Author: ??
This book is kind of slow. Didn't get past the first few chapters. But it might have turned into something quite good.
"Rebel Code" :: Author ??
A book about the upcoming of Linux, kind of like "Just for Fun" but with a different perspective. I found that I enjoyed reading it.
I know there are more titles out. Just can't remember them. :)

The Code Book by Simon Singh - personally found this as a good history on cryptography.
Fiction:
Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson - been going through this one. Its quite the read but is good. ;)
Hey Stronzo: I know it is fiction but have you read "Neuromancer" or "Mona Lisa Overdrive" by William Gibson? What a neat use for microsofts? Hey? Currently reading Gibson's book "Difference engine". Remember true books must cover the past, fiction especially science fiction can cover the future "it is where we are heading".
My favorite non-fiction book about hackers is Hackers by Steven Levy.
"The Fugitive Game" Jonathn Littman, about Mitnick
"The Watchma" Jonathan Littman, about Kevin Poulsen
Have you read "Underground". I got it from the web and i think its still a free download. Its non fiction very cool book about amrican, australian and european hackers.:)
