Actually, I get my first MAC tomorrow. A friend of a friend ;) rang me and said "do you wanna MAC?" and of course I said yes so it's being dropped off sometime tomorrow.

To be honest I have PowerPC but I rarely use it. Ii leave it on for my 2 year old to mess around with. hehehe

I've got a Macintosh Classic II. Buried beneath half a dozen old keyboards, two old monitors, about 300 CD's, a stack of paper and an air duster (among other things). I'd play with it (it works fine - slowly, but fine), but I'm missing the mouse, and keystrokes are so cumbersome....
And it's black and white. I'm so old......

it was a green screen baby....now THAT's old....no need for a mouse back then...was all text.....but it was oh so funky playing pong on it...even came with little dial-y controller thingies...
the reason they mad it look like that is very simple. It's so soccer mom's will look at it and go, "awww isn't it cute!" then buy it.

I bet it's not a real computer, it's a computer for the people who don't like going in the guts of the machine. The original iMac had no floppy drive (What were they THINKING?!)... do they continue the legacy?
I don't see on the list of features anything that resembles a floppy drive. That's probably an external upgrade. LOL

They're just recognizing that in the near future there'll be no software written for mac...hence no need to put anything <into> the computer....hehe
I actually reckon it looks alright. There's nothing wrong with something that's a bit out of the norm...something different every now and then - it's all good.

lol i think the mac is more outside as inside maybe they had power but they don't have things for showing that power like games or something just like a gun without a bullet it kinda sux to have on:)

Here's some pc designs that make this "revolutionary" mac look pretty sad....none are production models tho...just design concepts...
