Hey, I am newbie to this site. And I only know Javascript, Java, Qbasic, and HTML. Termnologies are very strange here. Just one question, what in the world is a Password Generator? And are there anyways of hacking passwords w/o BruteForce programs. Cause Munga Bunga rots. And it'll take eternaty to script it all. Need people! :confused:
Why should I waste my time telling you how to hack when I'm here to keep people like you out?

In case you haven't noticed, this is a computer SECURITY site... not INsecurity. And if you think you'll be cool by bragging about your hacks, I've got a little word of advice: JP has been known to work very closely with the feddies to hunt down hackers and wanna-be's such as yourself. I confess; I am a hacker. But I know better than to screw with people's systems, much less brag about doing so. I'm a white-hat; I help people out. So I'm all for security, not trying to destroy it. If you want to hack, white-hat is the ONLY way to go. Oh yeah, and it's legal too :)
My best advice? Get up off your lazy thirteen year old arse and do some research. Read everything about computers, security, networking, programming, firewalls, TCP/IP, etc... that you can find. And even some that you can't find. I started out with Carolyn Meinel's Guides to (Mostly) Harmless Hacking. Check them out at http://www.happyhacker.org or buy her book, Happy Hacker. They give enough information to get you started, but not enough for you to be a true threat to anyone. Great place to start.
Please, do us and yourself a favor, and don't become a script kiddie or cracker. There are more than enough out there. See if you're truly good enough to join the ranks of the highly-respected and appreciated white-hat hackers. Otherwise, bug off.

hahah.. well this IS a security site.. so we are preety much into securing our boxes than exploiting them.. but since your question is just child's play..
Password Generator is a software that generates passwords for certain softwares they are mainly developed by crackers who preety know much about disassembling programs and extracting passwords.
Word.. 99% of password generators are a joke...
Key Generators on the other hand, gives you registration keys for softwares so you can register the software you downloaded w/o paying for it.
Most Key Generators do work.. some are just a joke..
Seriously.. Dont bother using password generators since to most of us here.. they are just some sort of urban legends.. not real..
though i would recomend www.astalavista.com and www.elitehackers.com and http://blacksun.box.sk if you wish to read tutorials..
maybe you can increase your level and learn to do things w/o the aid of any scripts and softwares like bruteforce, trojans and password generators. (which 20% of us here in AO can do..) just pure protocols...
Then its up to you whether you will use that gift for good or bad..

Um......... honestly, people. Just tell him/her if U know it. Do you all really expect a newbie hacker could actually hack through secured computers like all of your's. Every1 here already have or should already have KICKED THAT FREAKING ZONELABS ZONEALARM PRO OR FREE OUT OF THEIR SYSTEM, AND REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER BETTER FIREWALL LIKE KERIO PERSONAL FIREWALL 2.1 BETA 5 or SYGATE PERSON FIREWALL /PRO. So, I believe that we are safe. Now, with those Scripts. Any senseable persons would normally disable all cookies, Java/Scripts, and would be using browsers such as Netscape or Opera (um........... not IE normally)

Now this premise will only work the day that he gets a job or creates hiw own company. So i would say that there is always hope for this type of behavior ...
There is something positive in him ... he is thirsty ... he is just a little deviated, but i guess you need some kind of goal in your professional life to move all that energy to something positive ...

Whether we feel threatened or not is beside the point. People like this newbie here are only in it as a "LOOK WHAT I CAN DO" knid of thing they give everyone else bad names and needlessly trash other peoples boxes. In my personal opinion it is a disgrace. I too am learning to hack but for personal satisfaction that i can learn domething new and, hopefully, learn how to stop others from using the same knowledge on me
Think about this one if there weren't any of those small people out there that blatantly disregard other peoples privacy, would we really need firewalls????

No, your nough said means nothing at all. He came to a security site seeking knowledge about security. If it wasn't for ppl that were breaking, or trying to break security, then there would be NO SUCH THING as security! Can you grasp that?
We WANT ppl to try/break security to test how secure we are, and if you (specifically) or anyone here doesn't understand that, then I would NOT want you looking after my box... that's for sure!

Hate to break it to you, but you could try to lay off just a bit... when someone starts a thread with the title "I am a newbie hacker...", the word "script kiddie" instantly pops into my mind. And to me, script kiddie equals poo. And something tells me many people feel the same way. When I first started out with security almost five years ago, I started to lean toward script-kiddie-land, simply because that was the easiest route. But I changed my mind when I got flamed for asking dumb questions. I just wanted to extend the same courtesy to growl. Besides, flames build character. And you could use quite a bit of character... also, you need to learn that you don't need to cuss to make a point. Just a little suggestion.

Point taken. I think that the vast majority of us leaned toward the "kiddie" side until we knew better. But I didn't abandon these impulses cuz I got flamed on forums, I did so cuz I learned more and grew out of the "I can *** you up buddy..." stage.
I have had my fair share of flames... but the only difference is; now I get flamed fer opinions, and then I got flamed fer dumb-as$ questions. We all know now to search a thousand pages till you get what you want, I just got a little annoyed with the asinine responses that he was getting.
I'm glad I know now that I don't have to ramble-on to get a point through! :)

Wrong. This is an anti-hacking site, althought a lot of people here are white-hats. What yiou are asking for is what crackers do, and to call you a cracker would be an insult to them. About 5-7 years ago this WAS a hacking site, but JP, rightly or wrongly changed the focus when he heard what one hacker was doing. I'll give you two hints, read and read some more. And then you may understand. This isn't a flame because everyone has been in your position (well maybe not quite) but you have to realise that trying to crack passswords is no the way to go.Quote:

I agree with this for one reason, and I think PhirePhreak said it perfectly when he called himself and others 'white hat hackers'. I've said it so many times, hacking is beautiful...but where are you motives. I practive hacking, yes, I admit it. I work in the IT dept of a company and I spend alot of my day trying to hack its systems....why??cause I'm paid to do it. They would rather have someone they trust try to hack them then some dirty cracker. I hack my own system regularily....why? to test the security and improve upon it.Quote:

you come in with a thread titled "I am a newbie Hacker...", and expect us to help. You must prove yourself worthy of receiving teaching. WHY you might ask...the same reason I wouldn't want to give nuclear/bio/chemical technology to a kiddie country, they need discipline before being able to handle weapons of mass destruction
I'll admit that I spend a lot of my time trying to crack my High School's security, but when I do, I just pat myself on the back and get out again... the lesson to be learned eventually by all is that it's more satisfying to know that you know how to do it, and don't.
