xp blue screen
Umm, well, I thought I had heard XP got rid of the Blue Screen of Death. Well, for those of you who haven't seen it yet....Can't get a screen shot, because the machine was dead (obviously), but I figured a digital picture would do the same thing. And just so you know, the only program that was running on the machine at the time was Autocad.

Yup, I've seen it also. Doesn't appear as frequently as in 98 and ME but if you push the right buttons.... Some drivers for a USB device causes 'mine' to appear.....
-
i too have seen it.... mine was when one of my hd's died
-
Yes But You Can View The Blue Screen O' Death in "Clear Type" Display
-
We should of known that m$ could not slay the blues screen of death.

I've seen it a couple of times, although both times have been my own fault... I can honestly say I've NEVER seen it on my mac!

The "Blue Screen Of Death" just can't be removed from our society. I guess we have to live with it. Unless anyone knows a tweaker to make it a yellow one? :p
-
why don't they change it to the green screen of death.
-
Sick Dwarf> Actually.....I can't remember what tweak program I used for it (tweakUI or tweakAll or something) but on my Win98 machine I get the Red Screen Of Death with Black text. It just seemed so much more appropriate that way.

w00t! I knew M$ wouldnt get rid of their trademark... IF there was no BSOD M$ cant say that it is THEIR product, LOL
I have been using a triple boot system (XP, 2000, RH 7.2) for about 3 months and I have yet to see a BSOD... Hmmm, maybe I should start booting into Windows? ;)
