Wouldn't it overheat? I read that last night, but can't remember if there was any way for good airflow.
Other than that, it'd be neat for a non-upgradeble, portable system.
I think I'd give you greenies if I didn't get that damned "You must spread your points around....." message, AGAIN!
That's great. I think I have some spare parts that I could do that with. If I get it together anytime soon I'll post a pic of it.
Wooooo hoooooo that looks fun!!!!!! Wonder if you could make it float? Though Im sure water and computers dont mix.
Kindred69
LOL, it's prolly shock proof too....
KorpDeath, you should try to top theirs by making it waterproof :)

:D :D
That's one funky PC. I would hate to be the one to upgrade the CPU inside of all that foam! :)
Hmmmm...
As the page suggests, the PC can't be upgraded, and can't be taken aprt if something doesn't work... it is quite strange.
it shoudnt over heat becouse there is air intake and outlet...but the foam does act as a insulator so it better have a good fan inside of it.
I wonder what happens when that thing catches on fire, would it release toxic gas and take out half the block. Think I’ll encase my computer in cement and use one of the spare molex connectors to make a cigarette lighter on the side.
Damn! That is one serious case, LOL
Does anyone have any links to sites that offer photos/descriptions of casemods?
My friend did a similar thing. He assembled a computer like here, then he made a few holes in the front of a fridge. He build the parts into the fridge and put the cables for the mouse, keyboard, monitor etc. through the holes. It was nice until his fridge catched fire when he was at a party. When he came back, his custom cooled computer was a mess.
Floating/ water proof case
cement case
edible case

any others?
Here’s a site I found with some cool case mods. I think most of these people have way to much time on their hands. http://www.fast-mhz.com/casemods/index.shtml
Yeah...that's definitely a funky case mod, but it has to be extremely warm in there. You know, if you spray painted the whole thing brown, it really would look like a big piece of..poopy. Yes, poopy. :\
I LOVE that nintendo one! I oughta do that! Well, not really... But it sure would be cool to have a computer that looks like a minifridge or something... Come to think of it, condensation aside, a minifridge would be great in terms of cooling....Quote:

That nintendo case is sweet.
hmm that case mod is a health hazard! those foams could be chiped and block anyone's nose..
and if burnt it will create dangerous toxic gases.. it should be destroyed!
lmao
Hehe, it's just a big blob...ah, where did this guy get the idea? :)
This site has some kool case-mods: http://www.pccasegear.com/
You can look thru the gallery for all different ones. I like the one on the front page, simple but very funky. You gotta love the blue neon-light, it's a must-have accessory.

Wow....just wow
Not bad, but if u want to put sth more a 128MB RAM or another one HDD or sth else. What? U will destroy this and again?
Anyone read 2600?
This quarters issue has the instructions to make a wooden case.....
Wouldn't mind trying to build a "funky" case, maybe out of marbles? :D
About the cement case, friend of mine tried, but was too heavy to pick up (wanted it to be a server tower....)
