outlook express users, be aware!!!
Worms that are attached as screen savers? My god, what will they think up next?
Unleashed> Does that mean I am ok, since I use oulook, and not outlook express?
Yes , you are ok, cause I think the worm which silentstalker mentioned does not know what oulook is , may be he knows what outlook mean but not oulook !Quote:

I just renamed the executable file, so I am ok?
No. The worms use Outlook's API for the attack. Renaming it won't help.
Outlook is a worms best friend.
Try using Norton-Antivirus, or McAffee against those creepy worms. Those anti-virus apps. really help.
Btw, .scr worms/viruses can do many malicious things just as the .exe viruses do.
B/c windoze treats them like executable files (almost).
:hiphop: :smokes:
Umm, so you are saying that if I rename the API's then I can use oulook?
don't use outlook if you can get away with it.
Ummm, so what if I get an attachment with a .pif or a .lnk ending?
When you kick back after a day having coquered yet another
security issue.......along comes a worm.
Cant you use the free virus scanning e-mail accounts to be
safe Soulman.
