What would you do if you had admin (c$) rights to a computer owned by the CIA? Just thinking of ideas
I would make a mirror of all their information, (except war related stuff), prolly only advanced technology , and the.. RUN LIKE HELL!!!!
heh so many things i'd want to do....
- See what really happened at Roswell
- Who shot JFK
- Did they play any part in 09/11
- Did they have anything to do with Princess Di's death
- What files they have on people I know
- Do they have any records of my computer habits
- Do they have any records on Bill Gates
- Their files on JP ;)
- What they are really doing to combat hackers
I could go on and on.......heh and if I could get root to a NSA computer!!!!! oO
v_Ln
I would wonder who put me in charge of a cia computer, and have them go to a psychologist.
Run like hell and forget I was ever there...
Or mebbe tactfully tell them I was there and get them to hire me -- LOL
I would do everything vallhallen said and also I would make sure no one else did what I did. Then i'd run and pray to god I wasn't caught.
Ummmm... probably make some calls to some friends and let them know of the issue.
However, it's not something I think I'd ever have, not working for them or with them directly... their insecurities aren't my business.
Find what other gov agencies they connect to, read my files, see what my grandfather's job there really involved (all I know so far is that he did signals analysis), put in a job application, accept my application, give me a large salary and office, see what they show the pres. and congress/senate, and otherwise explore
I would not wreak havoc of any kind, delete anything, and I would fix any security problems I see (ok...so I might delete something (what's this? windows? uh-uh, we'll have to fix that...))
It would probably take forever to go through everything there, as the cia's job is to collect information, and they do it exceptionally well.
Hmmm...these are getting interesting...
format c:
LOL....I think it is funny why no one is asking me why I am asking this question.....la la la la la
uhm... how about
format c: /q :) instead? would take a while for just format c:, eh?
If I was in control of their computer, I'd..........
I'd.........
Uhm..........
I would..... ****!
so... why ARE you asking this question? Actually no, I don't want to know.. blah blah blah blah I CAN"T HEAR YOU!! blah blah blah
I wouldn't care to look at American stuff ;)
I would prefer old KGB files, they must be far more interesting to read...
They didn't have to account for anything they did to the people of USSR :D
xmaddness has learned I think never to ask why...all I'll say is that I do.
And what makes you think it's the real thing? I can name my computer CIA Main Server whenever I want lmao
Could it be a fake server set up just to attract peeps and then monitor them? I know I would set up tons of decoys if I was a secret agent hehehe
:shootem: :3pow: :ubergun:
u are toasted! lolol
Who said it was a server?...Who said not a workstation....LOL people talking out their a$$ again...and who says I haven't pulled stuff off of it....?
I have "root" on our true leaders box. They are a group of organisms that live on Saturn and are currently running RedHat 7.2. The only trouble is that they're having a little trouble setting up WINE. Something to do with dependencies and libncurse libraries.....
LOL.....got Windows 2K on thier box.....small thing too...made by Panasonic, could fit it in your glovebox comp with lcd screen.....
The first thing that I would do is uninstall Windows ;).Quote:

ahahah Get in if you can, port 12345 scans won't do the trick...
BTW I don't bother much with those scans except for reporting to Dshield...
Oh also, I am on 56k so u might be scanning someone else nitwits...
I'd wonder if it was a honeypot, to be quite honest...
Besides, a true hacker would have never been known to have been there.
???
Scorp666, what are you talking about?
nuthin as usual... only babbling with those "super hackers" that grab CIA files all over the place... As of DShield, check http://www.dshield.org
Kezil, yeah that is what I am wondering about....if I have c$ share rights then ? Would this matter?
ahahah Get in if you can, port 12345 scans won't do the trick...

WTF?....
Also?
I'd wonder if it was a honeypot, to be quite honest...

It is a standalone system on my network...however it will once join the rest of it's network...just wondering what would be sweet to do....I have already pulled information off of it that would be nice for the media to have however.....it would be highly trace able
Since when does CIA permits internet access to their admins? I for sure wouln't allow it...
Let me laugh at that insane joke! :D :D :D
lol I forgot one bit...
Do your CIA boss know you are pulling files off that computer?
Advertising it on a forum wouldn't be the wisest move if anything you wrote was true...

He's got a point there. JP has already stated that those type of "security" and "defence" people lurk on these forums.
Anyway, I gotta go.....there's a black helicopter circling the building....
Why are you wasting time in a forum talken about it if you said you pulled a FEW files from it....stop chatten and get the rest!!!!!
One thing I might point out.....The CIA is great at doing their job....that goes without saying, but from what I've HEARD (cause I'd NEVER have anything to do with hack/cracking) their passwords generally suck. I actually find it funny as hell when the 2nd highest known intelligence acency in the world has passwords like.....nevermind. *L*
Stupid question....about six months ago, there was a NOT-SO-SMART gov test tube baby from the pentagon with access to some HIGHLY classified shi* who went to lunch at an outside cafe and forgot his laptop sitting by his table......there was a mill $$$ reward for it......anybody ever hear what happened to it? Just curious
what would I do if I had access to the admin share on a CIA computer? I'd dump your drive, delete my logs, and toss a keylogger on your computer to track your monkey ass for the next few months as you logged in all over the place to other CIA computers...then I'd intrude them too, and gather intel on them as well ( I am a patient guy) until I 0wned you 6 ways to sunday......... of course....I would never try to access a CIA computer in the first place since I am not in the habit of 'mysteriously disappearing' as people involved with the CIA tend to do.....and if the CIA is running a windows machine that hasn't disabled c$ in the registry then god save them.........they deserve to get ****ed by every person out there who could do it and get away with it.
as I said....I wouldn't do this personally...but hey...you asked.
well.. i would savenge for information on how i can get admin rights in the WHOLE NETWORK.. instead of just one box.. and see if i can get in the NSA network too...
Replying to Specter6:
I wish some of the governemental agencies would hire some people EVEN if they have not 10 years of studies behind them. Some people without diplomas are SO MUCH better than some with diplomas. And I know what I am talking about, ahem.... :-)
The worst in here, is that if a non-diploma guy is a good hacker, they would put him to jail instead of asking him to work with the governement.
I saw that there is a lot of governemental computer that are NOT that secure. People think that adding a kind of hard device on the computer would be enought to deny any hack.
Some underground hackers are getting better and better... Some of them make script. Script kiddies use those without knowing nothing about hacking. So you have to look twice more.
And now, with what's going on (WWIII ?) in the world, and wireless communication, they should BETTER hire good people. I saw some guys from pakistan asking about some technical stuff on how-to-hack. Also, let's talk about the new consoles (x-box, playstation, sega) that are out. I read a long time ago that sone of them are not allowed to be exported in those countries, due to the powerfull processor and graphical capabilities. And we could also talk about how a lot of commercial satellite are protected.. like **** :-) During time of conflict, commercial communication satellite are used in 45 percent of all communications between US and wherever is the army. Those satellite also handle communication for telephones, pagers, banks.. Back to 1998, the failure of Galaxy IV satellite disturbed 88 percent of 45 million pagers across the US for 4 days, blocked credit card authorization at point-of-sale terminals.. And a lot of those satellite do not encrypt tracking and control uplink...
Anyway, this is going to be a new game in a few years :-)
Enjoy !
I would have to concur with Kezil.. I think I would submit an application and accept it while giving myself a load of money. lol plus then you have the option to revisit the info database at your own discression once the job is yours.
