You can find some really good listings of popular editors by using:
Here is the link for CoffeeCup
There are a ton of resources including Download.com and Tucows...just search for them.
Here's a link to a listing of shareware/free HTML editors from Download.com:
HTML editors
Hope that helps.
Wanna search u can use this program[freeware]
http://www.copernic.com/products/cop.../download.html
Good-luck
Why not use Dreamweaver...or just do all the HTML manually...it is not that hard
It also depends on if you want to use a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor such as FrontPage or a simple text editor. If you choose the later, you can use something as simple as Notepad in Windows or something such as Edit Plus - I personally like Edit Plus. Of course, if you are creating a page using a text editor, you'll need to know the HTML tags and such. If you don't know HTML, there are loads of resources online that will give you all the help and assistance you will need.
Word of advice - if you know HTML, use a text editor because you can do so much more hand coding your pages than you can with a WYSIWYG editor.
Use notepad...it is pretty good if you don't want WYSIWYG but besides that you can use MS word and a few other ones....just do a search on them...easy to find
Ok thanks
I will go to search on the links you give me.
I know HTML but not completly and I wanted a editor for faster writing.
Thanks for the links
Another question....
Where do I find on the web a place where could I put my homepage for FREE......? :)
If I were you I would use coldfusion or homesite to make your site...
Some free hosting sites:
angelfire.com
geocities.com
tripod.com
0catch.com
System_0verload
Personally, I like Notepad, but (I'm gonna get flamed for this) *FrontPAge 2000*
mm Geocities has Page Builder.. its a bit like Front Page where all you do is just click and drag.. no need for coding.. tho a warning.. once u save your page.. and u made it by Page Builder.. and u decided to edit its source code.. it will stuff the page up..
coz there are some stuff i can do with coding that i cant do with Page Builder.. so i had to edit the source code.. but then when i saved it and preview it.. the alignment was ****ed..
Just use notepad. Go to the store and buy a book to help you get started. I, myself dont really like the WYSIWYG programs because they are for lame people who really don't even know whats behind the picture (moste people anyways). It gives web design a whole new meaning.
macromedia Flash & dreamweaver
hosting www.demented.org
or if u wanna pay for hosting look up interworks - just signed up withthem and they rule ;)

dreamweaver ultra dev rules, but its really overkill for a home page hosted on by a free service. frontpage is the easiest and more than adequet for your needs but notepad is a lot of fun if your not in a rush.
i gotta disagree with alot of people who think you learn more using notepad. well maybe the basics you'll learn better, but IMO you really start learning alot when you start editing pages made by DW or similar program to make them do what you want.
I know that notepad is a lot of fun becouse I tried
But is dificult for me because a pretty page has a lot of graphics on Java and stuf and I don't know $it on that
Well, for lots of JAVA, JS, CSS, pics, and other stuff for your page, you can still use everything from a plaintext editor to WYSIWYG editors. It's all a matter of taste...
However, you might want to be a little leary on any web page builder that does not let you edit the HTML and other code directly, or adds too much "extra" code or code that is not standard.
Here is a link for a decent editor that is free: First Page 2000 and is similar (but not as good) to Homesite by Allaire/Macromedia.
Good luck
Thanks
I will download First Page 2000
anywhay
some sites forr free hosting....? :)
MatrixY2k rocks it doesn't have all that extra crap but it's has only what you need. www.download.com has it.
notepad is good to use if you know html at the back of your hand. it also doesnt take up that much memory space when running, and loads up pretty quickly, unlike front page and other ones.

Notepad, and http://www.brinkster.com
I use ColdFusion to make web pages. you can find ColdFusion here . If you do end up going with ColdFusion I can help you get started if you want. I also have two eBooks on ColdFusion. If you would like me to send them to you just *PM* me. I hope everything works out for you.
