Help with this please.
Not bad... It got a lot right, but made a few mistakes. Might be a result of the way my internal netowkr is set up though.

Terr put me onto proxomitron some time ago. I wouldn't surf the web without it. I dont suppose anyone knows of a similar product for RedHat?
Yahoo News had a little story about this topic today...

The link in the story goes to qualys.com which looks at your system. Worked very fast for me.

s0nic: for a quick test of The Proxomitron:
Go to Headers. Scroll down to UserAgent: NetScape BEOS(out) or any of the other users agents. Select that UserAgent, and click Edit. In the Replacement Text window, fill in whatever you want (let's say "GameBoy"). Click OK, make sure to select both the In and Out boxes, click OK again, and close the Proxomitron.
Now go to iNet-Police or another page that shows you your environment variables.
Under HTTP_USER_AGENT, you should see GameBoy now:
Hope this helps...Code:HTTP_USER_AGENT GameBoy, I'm on a GameBoy
PS: make sure you set your proxy-settings to LOCALHOST, port 8080...
Sonic i did the test at http://tools-on.net/ goto Privacy toolsQuote:
