Windows Key Mapper
I wasn't really sure where to post this, but oh well..
After reading Scorp666's post "Windows Keyboard Tricks" I decided search for some keyboard mappers.
Sure, the built-in windows hotkeys can be usefull, but some of us just crave more...
I downloaded Macro Express 3 here.
It really is quite nifty, it lets you create your own hotkeys in several diffrent ways...
It can record ur mouse movements or can it directly open a program.
Example -
If I use the "capture" option, I can move my mouse over. open Notepad and then end the macro record. Now anytime I press Alt+N , my mouse will move over to Notepad and open it.
Or
I can create the macro so when I press Alt+S, It opens C:\Program Files\StarCraft\Starcraft.exe
I found this program to be very helpfull and time saving, hope others can enjoy it too . = )

Excellent program. I used to use it when I ran Windows. No need for it now. But from what I have seen and how much I've used it. It's a nice program. I would recommend it.

Anyone remember that macro program that came with windows 3.1. I set it up so it would open notepad and start typing crazy things. Then I linked it to the minesweeper icon. Great joke at the time.

They stopped putting that program as soon as they came out with the newer version of windows I believe. That was a great program though
Of course messing with school computers is always fun no matter what the program

I used that some time ago to enter casses in the que for a technical support program so I could play quake durring phone calls and not have to type the same crap in over and ove by hand.
was a very good time saver! and fun to play with to.

I personally loved the program because back in the day when I had to have permission to get online with the evil AOL I didnt have a password to my account so I just set it up to record the pass when dear ole dad typed it in and voila instant success.
Needless to say he found out about it when he realized I was logged on when he tried to get on his comp and he changed the password. oh well
