As many people know, I'm starting up my WebHosting/WebDesign/Services company. Originally, the name was to be Virtu-Com. I'm looking for some more professional names. Does anyone have any ideas for a professional webhosting name?

Use a house-hold name and change one of the letters, so you can leach of their fame.
Like:
Microsopht Web or
Yahooo! Technologies.
Just a thought...
I would choose a strange name which everyone will remeber. Something like virtual cucmber, mad frog or greenie frogie:) Or maybe something totally else as grey matter web, brain hosting. A bwah.. I have no idea at all sorry:)
Both are great suggestions... As of now, it is JCHosting untill someone helps me with a better name..
I had an auction design site named "Platinum Auctions." Maybe that helps you get more creative, IDK!
How about Streak Inc?
JCWaterwalker.com
i agree with sun7dots. a strange or unique name does help people remember it better. also try not to use abreviations in the domain name. for example, antionline.com is a lot better than ao.com. initializing the name confuzes people. jast an opinion.
You couldn't go wrong using your own name, like:
- JP MORGAN
- MERILL LYNCH
- FORD MOTOR CORPORATION
- ROLLS-ROYCE
- DAIMLER-BENZ
Of course, if your name is Arthur Anderson, you
may want to consider changing it.
How about websignhosting.com
Just my bag of gold;)

NAMEBOY - http://www.nameboy.com
NameBoy is a great deal of fun. Simply type in a primary and secondary keyword, select a site theme/category and whether or not you want your domain name to rhyme. NameBoy will then spit out a list of domain names in three columns: available, taken and for sale names. Using NameBoy I was able to find domain names like promotionmag.com, promotionmonthly.com, and promotionbot.com.
DOMAIN FELLOW - http://www.domainfellow.com/
To use Domain Fellow simply type in a keyword, select the extension of your choosing from the drop-down list (com net or org) and the category/theme for the site that will reside on the domain name. A custom domain name query tool which permits you to enter up to 10 keywords as well as a list of domain name resources is also available.
123FINDER - http://site.123finder.com/
If you give 123Finder a spin, I highly recommend that you try the advanced search available by clicking on the "Power Search" tab near the top of the page. The power search will allow you to enter up to three keywords, add to the list of prefixes, specify whether you want dashes (-) to be used as well as allowing you to only display available domain names.
E-GINEER DOMAINATOR - http://www.e-gineer.com/domainator/
Domainator is the most feature-rich domain name generator of all the ones reviewed here. Not only will it find domain names containing a list of keywords you enter, it will check whether they have already been registered (including hyphenated versions). You also have the option to check the US Patent and Trademark Office database for trademarks in which your keywords are used. As well, Domainator will search Dictionary.com for a definition which it will display, then it translates the keywords entered into a dozen or so foreign languages, combines the words in various ways and lists rhymes to the words.
NAME:CREATOR - http://creator.homepagenames.com/
Name:Creator combines the features of 123Finder and Domain Fellow. You can type in multiple keywords, select a category/theme for your site, include or exclude hyphens, flip words, hide taken domain names and narrow down the search to any of the three domain name extensions (com, net and org). During my trial Name:Creator came up with domain names like surfpromotion.com, hostpromotion.com and promotionCGI.com.
Name Boy is my personal favorite
Thx freeON.
Stone Age Web Technologies... Some people might make fun of you, but I think it's cool. Kind of like a paradox or something...
As of now, it will be JCHosting.... If anyone has a better name, please post it.
