Hey everyone. I finished that guide I promised everyone about TCP/IP. It explains a lot on TCP/IP, UDP, and a few other things you might want to read on. Hope you like it.
I wrote the file in wordpad so its probably best viewed in that.

but in ur guid u said
8 bits x 4 ocits = 32 bits
isnt it 8 bits x 4 ocis = 32 bits ??

You didnt really talk about Subnetting or SNMP..
Maybe add some background info about that into ur tutortial : )

ocis... ocits... I think its ocits, I could be wrong. But that's not really a technical error, is it? It's mostly like a typo, if its an error at all.
I was pretty eager to get the guide up on the net, I might add subnetting, spoofing, and a section of packet filtering some time a little later, but I don't know.. thanks for the comments :)
All I got was a bunch of giberish, but then I am on a campus computer and strange things like this happen from time to time. I'll try again from home later.
Yeah, the files there. And if your opening it with notepad you'll get that, it says /par between every line and stuff like that. Very annoying.

lol octets it is! does it really matter that much? lmao
Was going to post but you beat me to it... it should be octets. One octet being 00-FF (ie. 0-255).Quote:
