The "Dell Dude"

Just for fun: can anyone else not stand the Dell Dude?
(commercial : "Dude you're getting a Dell!")

Hey man im with you... I cant stand the kid.... :fpissed: Ok the first few times I could deal with it but god almighty did Dell ware those commercials out... Oh by the way have you heard about "Dude Wear" Dell is going to come out with a collthing line sporting their catch phrase... what is the world coming to? However a sign of relief... today I saw a Dell commercial and it didnt have the Dell dude... So Hurray for that...

Dell was the first company I saw providing network drivers in files ++8mb large. Xircom did it 70k - at least THAT fits on a floppydisk (which comes in handy if you can't get on the internet because you still have to download 8mb's of network drivers)... There must be some real geniusses at Dell's ...

I kinda like him only for the fact that he's helping me sell Compaq workstations cuz my customers can't stand him. :D

So..it's a catch 22...I really can't stomach the ads but dang..my sales are picking up so while I voted against him, I don't want to see Dell lose the ads either.

I like Dell, have good experience with Dell but that commercial makes me hate hearing the word Dell.

I just want to walk up to him and say "Dude, you're getting a kick to the crotch", and then deliver it.

I personally think Dell is ok, but since I am a devoted gamer, and their systems just don't seem to run games as well as business apps, I don't buy 'em........

they should get a chihuahua dog that says "Yo quiero una DELL" like the old "yo quiero TACO BELL " chihuahua lol.

I like him.... he has my name. Other than that he has nothing going for him... definately not my good looks either! I like Dell though (before he showed up--and now). I wont buy another brand name pc though... it's too nice to build your own! You can spend 1100 and you can get a dual processor 1.9 GHz with primo stuff

I hate the TV, and I know that's where the "Dude" is. Now, did you know that "Dude" is slang for elephant butt hair? I found that in some lame slang dictionary, though I think the text was a little dated to say the least.
I know the bastard only because I used to support the dell dimension series. Subsequently, I hate the dell machines, would never own one, would never recommend one, and I'm compelled to let the intending buyers know that "Dude, you're gonna burn in hell" every time they say they are going to purchase one.

I find the guy kinda funny. I dont' care for any name-brand PC. But his attitude, just makes me laugh. :)

Kinda says something when a technology company choses the posterboy for the mentally challenged as their spokesperson. I could deal with the first one, but damn, how many times are they going to drag those crappy commericals out ...

I don't really like Dell computers, but the Dell dude is the shiznit.

I have a Dell and love it. I thank they have the best techs. As when I first got my computter I did not even know how to cut it on and off. Hell I thought the mouse was gas gas pedal. But for the Dell Dude they could have done better.

It's sad for me to think that a friend of mine works for a business which retails and services practically only Dells....

It seems that Compaq(HP) is definitely gaining from this demise...

The really sad thing is he is probably selling thousands of Dell computers, but hopefully a lot more ppl see him for the annoying pain in the ass he portrays, and see Dell as the money grubbing, condesending company it is.

Sure the guy is making shitloads of money so what does he care if he looks like the biggest ass around. He's laughing at us, but the commercials still suck.
