I went threw it once. Got sick of it quick though. You can only view so much crappy source before you get really sick of it.

As far as http://www.try2hack.nl/ goes. I prefer to play with a dummy box setup on my own network. I have an old K-62 box that I switch OS'es on to test different setups and security.
i got to level6 which is a vb 6 user pass prompt, didn't feel like wasting my time with it after that
You don't need anything but common sence to get past like the first four levels. I think it's on level 5 you have to decompile a java-class and figure some stuff out. Then I got tired of it :|Quote:

Hey Sankky? I don't wanna ruin the fun so I tell you one thing... lvl 1 - 4 you can win them ONLY with notepad but lvl 4 is good to decompile (thats the JAVA thingy) lvl 5 is VB3 source so... its not so hard to win...

I guess some people thought you were spamming that website. Some people are just to quick with the antipoint triggers. I would suggest asking more specific questions, although this is a security site and we're here to prevent people from trying to get passwords. Alas, seems you are stuck in limbo.

gettin past level 2 you need to use the most uber-l337 of all hack0r tools - notepad ;)

Yeah that site was easy.. Just check your source, temporary internet folder, and notepad will be your best friend. When you get to the vb 3 thingy just decompile it (search google cause i know your gunna ask). As for the vb 6 thing, well, i got bored with it and never tried it. I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad though. (me thinks maybe debug er something) Oh well, remeber, use the force, a.k.a. notepad.
