Can you give antipoints as long as the person giving antipoints has enough/stays green?
i know there is a set limit for number of antipoints you can give in one day.

LoL...you're desperate for more posts...right???and to answer your question:NO!You can give AntiPoints ONLY ONCE to a thread.
hehe silly person silly person...
Hey theres some misunderstanding. Its not to one person alone. I meant in general.
Dont jump into conclusions.

Ok, here's a better explination....
You can give out as many points as you want in a single day...
However, your points lose their value after a certain point...
(that being more than what you have... ie: you 50pts, can give up to 50pts)
There is no set limit on how many a day, just to a post....
There is also, a limit on how many to an AO user....
You have to give some points around, to various users, before you can give some to a user you have before...
(ie: Give 1pt to a post in this tread to a user, then find another useful post by same user, can't do, not until you *spread* some points. A warning will tell you)
There's also the whole thing about "balance" in your antipoint distribution.
You must maintain a 80%-20% ratio... that is under 80% pos/neg...
Any more than 80% will give you a warning at the main index page, telling you to "obtain balance in your life" and that if you ignore the balance, your points will lose value...
Hope that explain something...

There were a couple of days when I tried to assign antipoints that a message popped up that said essentially that I had given too many antipoints that day and would have to wait until another day to give more. This was shortly after I started, and I happened to hit a day when I was on AntiOnline much of the day and had reason to give out plenty of both positives and negatives.
ANd now you also need to try and stay balanced with the new system.
I am wondering if part of your question here deals with a person who perhaps has had more "greenies" but has received some negative antipoints. You are wondering if that person can still give out antipoints which carry a point value, as long as they still have a "green dot" and haven't yet dropped back to the "gray dot" or into the "red dot" territory. If that is the question, yes. That is my understanding of how it works. Someone else correct me if I am wrong. ( ;) I know that you will!)Quote:

. . .
Shouldn't the answers to all this stuff be in an FAQ somewhere or maybe it is already?
totallycurious >> You know...there ARE more inventive methods to gain posts but hey!that's ok...Let's just ask questions like: " Why is the blue sky blue" or "Who's JP?"(lol...no offense) to gain posts.Oh yeah...just to remind you folks that totallycurious recently started a new thread that asked IF he can format his LINUX partition with the MS-DOS format utility...My bet:he's trying to get as many posts as he can by asked dumb questions:"How do you format c: by inserting a boot disk and typing format c:???"Christ!
Perhaps you are right victt. He may just be posting these things to get more posts under his belt, but perhaps the new suicide threads feature will cut off this post. Lets see if it does.
I'm just sad I can't give any more negative antipoints to totallycurious...:=(

Anymore points? If my understanding of the system is correct, you can't give any points at all at this point. You have to have a certain number of posts under your belt to even give points. And what's your problem with totallcurious anyway?
