Terrorist attacks tommorow!!

Theres been a rumor going round that there will be terroist attacks on the USA tommorow 4/7/2002 (independence day) have any of you guys heard anything?

Well, right now in the US, tomorrow is not the fourth, hehe. But of course, there are rumors of everything like this every day. It's ridiculous, if you ask me, for people to come up with such things. Most of the ones coming up with the rumors are the people who complain so much about the "rag-heads" across the oceans. Those closed-minded idiots really tick me off; I'm surrounded by them.

Lets see last I read something city where I live is a major target according to the FBI then again they and the CIA are busy diverting attention to the fact they had clues of 9/11 but did nothing, so I still ask why FBI and CIA you did nothing with those clue's, and they give me I'm a target. OK as far as I am concerned I'm a target everyday when I walk, drive, work..so what else is new?

I read something about that, that the government knew about the terrorist attacks and didnt do anything, strange. but then so is the fact that there are strange light flying above secret bases. lol

I've also heard there's suspected terrorist attacks planned for July 4th. I'm not worried about it though. A terrorist greatest weapond is fear.

That be Area 51 and really has more to do with American Indian Legends but I won't go there LOL :D

Remote_Access_, i live in australia and we write dates day/month/year as americans write dates month/day/year. sometimes it gets confusing

I feel the only fireworks we will see tomorrow are the usual 4th of July fireworks. Keep smiling! :)

Lol, I heard there is going to be a special fourth of july parade and fireworks at area51. Gonna go see me some aliens. Also heard bin laden swam the english channel. :)

in a local newspaper the news of the world it said the queen and prince andrew are targets for bombing on the 4th july in america by the al-queda

I look at it like this. What better day to attack us than the anniversary of our country becoming free. This country stands for freedom, and that is something that many people dislike. SO, why not tomorrow? Besides, if they were to pull off an attack when we are on special super alert, they would be able to brag more about success.

Well with the number of alerts we are receiving on a daily basis here, it's all just a little overwhelming. I choose to think that nothing is going to happen tomorrow, because the element of surprise won't be there. Over and over again we have heard that we are targets for terrorist attacks, but they are all "at some point in the future." My feeling is they are going to wait quite awhile, long enough for us to go back to our usual sense of complacency, and then do something disastrous again. I really don't think that there is any danger tomorrow. On the other hand, my family and I are celebrating at home with a large number of friends and family and cooking out and doing our own fireworks (yeah, that's illegal...lol!).

No point in taking chances when it's not neccesary.

4th of July would be a good day for them to do an attack... If they like use airplanes again what are you going to do about it? Like debwalin said a lot of alerts come every day but they seldom say anything about the target or time or anything so nothing can actually be done.

Even if this rumor was one that circulated in well-known magazines/newspapers, I still don't think I would let it inhibit me from celebrating tomorrow. Lots of horrible things have happened, and people are scared, but I'm not going to live my life in fear of something that 'might happen'. It 'might' happen that I get into a car accident and die tomorrow, but that doesn't stop me from driving almost everyday.

If you live your life in fear...you give the terrorists what they wanted, recognition of sorts, putting a country in panic for fear of their lives in hopes of some political change.

How about an Anthrax Smoke Bomb? Or a c4 packed artillery shell? The possibilities are endless. Watch those Fireworks FBI, that could turn into a bad situation.

i am not too concerned... everyday we are told that there are all sorts of threats... and besides security will be boosted tomorrow (combat jets flying al over... )they would be foolish to attack...

BTW, even if the CIA or FBI had some idea something was going to happen on 9/11 how would they have done anything?

Two months ago I saw 5 F-15's flying over my apartment, then two days ago, 4 F-16's flew over. I do like the sense of security, it's comforting. I'd just be spending my July 4 lighting some Ninja fireworks.

I doubt anything will happen tomorow for it being a holiday. They would probally do it on a not known day.

Why would they do it on a not known day, it would make sense to do it on a importasnt day cause then when you celebrate in the future it means that there will be this to remember aswell. I've notice that there have been a few jets flying over australia for some reason, i dont think its related but i though it was just weird.

Rumors abound. heresay is never a valued source of news. Even the news isn't a valued source of news at that. I doubt that they would attack tommorrow especially with an airplane because they already did it. You people need to chill out. Just remember anything that starts with I've been hearing this rumor is probly just that a rumor.

Mr. Bush recieves threats daily. And I bet this whole "terrorist attack on 4th of July" was started by someone who had nothing better to do than start another nation wide scare. They think because it's the fourth of july that some big "fireworks" are going to take place. But I disagree. Next think you know, there's gonna be terrorist attack on christmas.
