Music Match juke box for me .it have different sampling rates as per ur choice and other cool features too
I use FreeRip. It has an annoying ad window, but for free, it's a good piece of code.
BTW, it also encodes into OggVorbis
I use CDex you can find at http://www.cdex.n3.net/
Free, powerfull, with many options, but also easy to use... There's nothing to say more.
i also use cdex, and i advise it to anyone wanting to rip mp3s. not only can u rip cds cdex can also covert to map3 to wav etc... it is easy to use and loads of options. AND BEST OF ALL ITS FREE ;-)
Im just going to point out the fact that this is a security website and ur about to get negged for asking what u asked
well netsyn i did post it in general chit chat. i thought that was what it was for.
thanks for the negs man.
to all the others who suggested a program thank you!!
what does this have to do with security:

heres a thread you started about ?yourself??...

practice what you preach man.
I too am confused, I thought this thread was open for off topic posts like this one.
Personally I was quite pleased to get some info. I haven't used a ripper lately but it is good to hear about new ones.
I think negging Aphex was not a cool nor understanding thing to do. You can neg me too but it won't change my attitude.
What it does do is make this more adversarial. In fact it was your post to how this site is doing that mentioned the mood is crappy. You really think negging someone who asks a computer related question in a general forum will help to improve it?
When I review the topics in this forum there are not that many that are directly security related. However, there are a lot that are computer related. I enjoy that, gives me a chance to explore many different topics as well as security. The tutorials are not even security specific. There are tutorials on using Google better, lots on networking, etc.
If this had been posted in one of the Security specific areas I could see your point, but here, well -
I am confused.
i didnt think there was anything wrong with your post. there are many threads that do not deal with security all the time.
site would be quite boring if it was strictly security oriented content, right??
I would recommend audiograbber for ripping from *.cda to *.mp3
The program:
http://download.com.com/3000-2140-86...ml?tag=lst-0-1
The crack:
http://www.cracks.st/index.php?search=audiograbber
i have been using Illustrate dBpowerAMP (what a spelling!) for cd ripping.
it accepts cd audio (.cda), mpeg layer 3 (.mp3), mpeg layer 2 (.mp2, .snd), mpeg audio (.mpga, .mpa), mpeg x (.mpx), mpeg (.mpg), wave audio (.wav) as input (--> you can rip the audio portion of an mpg video), and .mpg and .wav as output. they will soon support dvd audio also.
it's configurable, it's fast and it's free!
peace always,
<jdenny>
u asked what http://www.antionline.com/showthrea...8544#post558544
has to do with security ?
if u read the post u would have noticed i was pointing out the fact that using randomg #s and letters with random cases makes ur password almost impossible to brute force with well over 54,507,958,502,660 possibilitys... then again i guess ur just looking to put me down...
as for the thing on RIP asking about ripping MP3s off a CD isnt exactly something id consider security related and more on the lines of sumething ud see on some shitty warez site and anyone with half a brain could find a program like that using google.com which u should have read the FAQ about posting so you could have done it without wastieng time

The negs probably also came because the topic was dealing with copyright infringement. We've had several posts about the ethics of MP3 trading, ripping, etc, as well as other forms of file sharing. While rippers are not illegal right now, trading MP3's is. I don't see any problems with the question, but the idea is obviously troubling to some.
