I must say... I was never part of any alliance... never have been, never will be... Why? Alliance's require trust.... and alliances fall apart at the slightest problem....
But do you want to know what you are cmnoop? you are the person who feels shafted because they get left out of such things..... take antipoints, any **** like that, out of it... you feel left out, because people don't like you.... your the AO snitch....

Actually matty I do know them although I do not go out of my way publicaly to talk about it. They all know me and I know them, I never got involved with alliances because they were kept very low key to non IRC users.
I may be the snitch but I dont create rumour everything I have said is true and I predicted this a while back or at least hinted to it.
So when antihaxor was posting saying he had nothing to do with it he is comforted like a child but me alas when I say I reckoned he was involved I get negged.
In fact I got a lot of possies for this post from people, many newer less attached people with no affilaitions who arent afraid to speak their mind telling me to keep it up and that they always knew what was up.
So please Matty dont attack me because I am not in the popular group or say I am jealous becuase quite simply I am not.

i can also say i have never been part of a antipoint alliance... mainly because i have never been asked to... but i can saftly say i would have said no i have said no to people who have asked me to give them antipoints.... because once antipoints used to be a good test of how trust worthy / knowlagble / respected a user was their was a only a handfull of people with them... now they have fallen apart people are bribing forming alliances to get the elusive 11th dot... the antipoints have followed a similar thread to many events in history. everyone wants antipoints so they get them in any means possible now their usless... exept for those select few that still think that the amount of dots is directly propornal to the lenght of their penis... someone suggested it in irc the other night.. i think chsh the antipoints should be reset to reweed those people that slipped throught the aliance cracks... if you know what i mean and have the system that works great in theroy have a second shot and not die like communism :)

I was never apart of any alliance. I didn't even know there was an alliance until Rioter told me today. I still really don't know what happened and it all doesn't bother me. I just visit to check out some decent posts and news and stuff like that, I'm not too fussed about the inner-working of all these conspiring people and their evil plans. Why they waste the effort is beyond me - post legitimately and things will go your way eventually - while I find the board a fun place to visit and very informative, I have greater things in my life to do than worry about little dots - like my youngest won his Aussie Rules Football Grand Final today ... woohoo !!! (just thought I'd share that as a proud dad)

Having been a victim of antihaxor's alliance for disagreeing with him on one of his posts (I got neged by at least a half dozen folks for my veiw on the 9-11 theard I started) I can safely say that if asked I wouldn't join an alliance... The little green dots are nice but like Phat Penguin I have other much more important things gong on in my life (a wife in a combat zone, my 5 year olds first few days of school, all of my kids wanting to know why Mommy hasn't been able to come home from "work" in so long, if Mommy still loves them because she has been gone for so long, etc.) than the number of green dots I have...

being an interstater I have to back the Brisbane Lions for back-to-back flags .... should be a great game and some of you out of Oz citizens should tune in if you can - its a great game - if you can follow what few rules the umpires manufacture during the game :)
No alliances here .... if you are a Collingwood supporter you are hated by the rest of Australia LOL
Explanation: for our overseas readers who dont know, Collingwood is a national football team here in Oz who are supported by what is known as the "Black and White Army" (their team colours) - probably has one of the largest supporter bases too ... these people are famous for their one-eyed, extremely vocal, competely biased view and fanatical support for their team :) .... but they will make the day a spectacular and a daunting day for the visiting team !!
thats too bad about remote, he was a good member and i learned a lot from his posts. maybe he gave to much importance to the 'antipoints'. i think banning may be a little extreme considering all the work he put into helping people and such. something similar happened a few weeks ago also if im not mistaken. what about jenhx, he helped me out too i recall, maybe banning is to much, why not strip the members of their antipoints save but 50 or so and let them keep their accounts that they have put a hell of a lot of thought an work into.

I have seen some regulars and one that has just been banned use another I.D(keeping the name quiet).
But its a punishment J.P must have decided and its his board so he has to live with it.
Stripping them of points would of been best as having no points beside a thousand posts would look punishment enough.
Oh..Just to let you know...I hate collingwood too but it's my Mum's team and it's the only Melbourne team left.

Perhaps you don't really care about the AP system because you are already at the top, and don't have to fear getting neg'd like crazy the next day, but some people get negs for every post they make and that's abuse of the AP system. Are you telling me that if a group of people got together and banned you from AO you wouldn't care? That would be abuse of the system, and I am sure you would care, well, cmnoop is helping keep the system clean. Because the system obviously is getting abused, and nobody wants that. How is that keeping the system clean??? I mean, I dont' care if those people were doing that kinda ****... good on them for being stupid enough to get themselves banned....
But this thread, its just as stupid.... It is making the system messy again.. because people are giving points for stuff which isn't regarding our contribution's to the system.. its regarding us bitching against each other.....
And I don't care about my AP rating... If I got banned, I'd join up the next day... and you could keep banning me, every day.. I'd still come back...

Some people will bug you and well Im just one of them.
The thing about it is this: We all know there's been a lot of abuse going on, and it's good to help clean up the system. But there's a right way and a wrong way to go about things. Posting threads like this one and the one a couple of weeks ago is the wrong way. A private message to JP will do just fine without constantly stirring up all this crap in public.
What irritates me about cmnoop is not that he is helping to expose cheating - in fact, I appreciate that. It's the way he posts all these self-righteous "look how great I am" threads and tries to paint himself as some kind of martyr so everybody will feel bad for him and pet on him. I think he wants to be banned and then declared the patron saint of AO or something.
cmnoop, if you were really interested in the well-being of the community, you would have let the bannings be done quietly without a public announcement, or at least if there is to be one let it come from JP. It's not your place, and it creates division among people who otherwise get along just fine. THAT is why you get negs, and some of them have been from me in the past. If you're half as interested in the community as you claim to be, you will DELETE this thread and not post any more like it in the future.

AO is our home away from home. antipoints are lame anyway, they are a good idea, but jeez.. getting ppl banned with alliances is just flat out LAME. if they are bad members, report em and jp will take care of them if there is just cause. but plz people, especially the ppl involved in the "alliances" just grow up basically and have fun and learn on hear.
