Newbie no more!
Just realised that my Newbie status has GONE =)
Sorry about the pointless post but its great to have got rid of the newbie staus and moved up rank to Jnr. Member.
I look forward to many more posts and maybe, someday, getting Addict status (long, long way away)
Thanx guys for making this the experience it has been, much appreciated!
Regards
r3b00+
ps Sorry about the post, just got a bit excited (sad me, eh)
-
eh, we both just get into jr.member and 77 posts now.
Mine post is useless too, sorry , just want to mention r3b00+ that we are the same somehow.
Cheers

Congrats on jnr membership Unl3Ashed!

Congrats guys, I know the feeling. It is great not to see newbie next to your name anymore.
It felt like ages before you got there , but it is worth it.I see it in the light of how much I have learned from everybody here, and how much we still have to learn.
regards
v/man:)

Congrats you two for sheding your newbie skins. Y2k, I'm sure you'll get some more positive points soon enough ^_^ Don't place to much thought on that. Just keep posting when you're compelled too.
Once more, congrats Unl3Ashed & r3b00+. I'm hoping to join you guys in that status soon enough :c)
Take care

If you don't stop whining about the negative AP's you'll never make it. Quit complaining, make intelligent posts that we can all understand and everything will be fine...but if you keep bringing up the AP's you're just just gonna get yourself deeper into a hole.
r3boo+ and Unl3ashed, congrats on making Jr Member status...well done!
-
and i have just started to crawl up the ladder... it will take me a long time... to reach there... i suppose..
-
Congratulations to you both!
Y2K, I'd have to agree with allenb that you need to quit turning each and every post into an AP whine. People are going to look for those kinds of posts to neg. So far you've been lucky. Take some advice to heart.
-
congratulations, guys. I'm happy for you.

Congrats!
Congrats to you all. I felt quite a bit excited as I moved up as well, and it's only been barely a month, I think. I just recently officially became an AO junkie (aka Addict)! :p It's great to look back and see how much you've learned, as vanman said. Although I am already an Addict, the learning never stops; just hope to be as knowledgeable as some of the more experience people here and abroad. I wish you all great experiences here at AO, as mine has been a great one thus far. Oh, and to y2k, you may or may not have deserved those negs, but look at it this way: concern yourself with making quality posts from here on out, and it will all work out. I found myself wondering about the negs when I was a Newbie, but I learned fast soon afterwards. Anyways, Congrats again, you are no longer "weanies", as my High School freshman-year gym teacher used to call us! :D
Take care.

y2k.Don't freak out about AP's.Just 3 days ago I was about 65 in the hole, and now I'm at about +65.Just watch what you post when in the hole.Try to stay away from whining and contraversy as those can earn you negs real quick if you say the wrong thing.Another thing I learned in the hole was if you do a little research and post a decent tutorial your APs can jump up pretty quick.
Congrats everybody who recently got out of newbie land. It's a great feeling to get rid of that label isn't it?I should be bumped up to member here soon,it's sure been one helluva roller coaster.Good luck in your future research and posts.

Well thanx alot guys, didnt expect to get that many replies, but its nice having the people who have taught me so much giving me the encouragement that will make my time here at AO all the more enjoyable.
Once again thanx and see you guys around AO.
Good Luck

And I would like to thank all you guys too. Thanks for your congrats and for your encouragements.
And I would like to say that although r3b00 and me and others will be happy to not being a newbie but whatever we are, we should learn. A newbie should learn, an addict should learn, and as well as siniors.
As one of my profisors said that a good engineer is one who will be remain a student all over his life.
And my final word for this post: I am realy happy that I add more experince to myself here among you and I get more happier when I can see that I am able to help someone here.
Once more, Thanks all of you.
Cheers

Congratulations.
Concentrate on the content of your posts. Slow and steady wins the race. Dont be after APs. Being a Jr. Mem you are supposed to post with some useful stuff.
Well.. you have joined the Jr. Mem. Club. Great feeling, is it?.

Newbie status or not, I'd definitely like to congratulate you. Not because of your status or antipoints. I'm congratulating you because your post's have helped me so far at my little time I've been here at AntiOnline. I've seen that most of the newbies and Jr. members have "welcomed" me so to speak in a great way and I wanted to say thank you for a nice welcome. I have made a few newb-friends and all my friends that I make I hope to teach and learn from. Thank you again everyone, and another congratulations to you reboot!
