plz help me!

hi pple,
i have been reading thru every post i could lay my hand on here at this forum and i must confess y'all seem to kno ****.anyway i've got some questions to ask.first i was browsing thru every file in my pc then i came across this spy which i dont kno where it came frrom,i tried deleting but it still kept popping up.plz how do i remove this pain in the ass kind of software.my other question is do pple use this spywares in browsing thru governmet files,financial files and other dbase.cos to be candid with u guys this is a really serious issue that needs to be addressed.

Try these.

Spyware does a lot of things. Keeps track of what you are doing, what kind of hardware you use, files on your computer, software you run, websites you visit. You can also get Adware which will pop up ads and is sometimes classified as spyware. It can do several other things. When people are going threw your system looking at files on your computer, they are usually using a trojan. I believe that answers what you asked. However for future posts, please us proper english, or at least try and get your spelling somewhat correct. I really dislike all these posts with poor ass spelling and shitty grammar.

do they use this in gaining access into public and goverment files?

If a government machine ever had a trojan, that'd be a big big problem. However, yes you can use a trojan to browse files on an infected computer. However this is illegal... and it kinda sounds to me like now you just wanna know how to get into peoples files. Do a google search on trojans and you'll find out all you need to know on them.

As for the trojan, I never said you had a trojan, you could simply have spyware. I said a trojan was a way of browsing a users files. Spyware can come from anywhere, Kazaa for one has spyware in it.. and if you go to crack sites or porn sites, then you'll get pop-ups all the time asking you to install spyware of some sort, if you click ok... boom there's spyware on your computer.

A firewall is only as good as the rules it has been set. I think that you are getting a false sense of security here. Also spyware can have infected your computer through another file which you downloaded of somewhere. I suggest the you update your virus signatures and scan your whole hard-drive for anything that isn't supposed to be there.

Well what "Spy" was it.. what what is the name of the file, is it associated with what Trojan, or what Spyware..

I'd say a determined attacker would use anything he/she could get their hands on. And yes... a attacker could map out your HD and search for files with a trojan of whatever. Enought said but wait...

What I find hilarious is that illicit is a member of a self proclaimed hacking group called "Army of Chaos" which he provides a link to via his AO profile. This info alone adds humor to this already horrible thread.

Well, Perhaps he was, perhaps he wasn't. In his first post he said that we know our ****. Meaning a compliment. Wow, you know your ****!

Guys guys, relax. All the information he seeks is on thousands of websites out there anyway. Rather than accusing someone of social engineering, why not just give them the information, and point out the risks involved also?

I've always been one that will provide the info they want, and provide details on the legality of it. Its up to them to decide what is right and wrong, and is a process that all computer hackers/experts/specialists go thru in life.

was that he was using the classic method of complimenting someone in order to get them to provide information... Still not exactly *good* but that's the impression I got. Actually, I substituded the word "****" with "stuff" and it actually makes a difference. So there's my opinion :) .

Just my two cents on the insult/compliment issue. I tend to see "you know ****" as being an insult and "you know your ****" would be a compliment, but knowing **** can't be a good thing.... even though I think that's what it was supposed to be..
