This post really isn't about the site itself, more the people who use it. For everyone out there who uses leet or l33t, however you wanna say it, just stop. an occaisional word everyonce in a while, but i have seen many posts (mostly from newbies) who think the can be more "hackerish" if the sp34k 1n l33t all the time! It is judt annoying, so if you are reading this and you post like that, please stop. for all our sakes

Suggestions like this have been made before, and it's not really something JUPM can take care of...
not much anyone can do abuot it. if there are people who want to post like that, its up to them. i dont think it bothers too many people that much. it gets a little irritating to read if it happens too often.
I haven't seen anyone using l33t speak on this site in awhile.... Besides, when someone does they usually get negged into the ground before the end of the day anyway, so don't worry about it.You're new to the site too, and you've made several small errors, but nobody's blasted you for any of them because it's understood that you're new to the site and you're learning, so maybe you should give the same treatment/level of respect to other newbies.Quote:

I think he *wanted* this to happen, lol. ;) I wonder what my professor would think if I turned in an entire paper in leet speak? They'd probly just think my printer screwed up or something.... I'm thinking about trying it :D .
I think it would be counted as a foreign language, you will probably get the same reaction as if you handed it up in Spanish.
