lol
? What's funny about that?
most of the com.sec. community don't see her as a viable source of any kind of advice or information!

The most special thanks of all go to our computer criminal enemies. They have made incessant attacks against those courageous enough to allow Happyhacker.org and me to have access to the Internet. We were able to turn this seeming misfortune into an asset thanks to John Vranesevich and the staff at Antionline
tampabay420, I know, she never looks very skilled in her writings. I think she's just what you would call a mediaperson. Very "famous" but not with extraordinairy skills.
Hm. The Internet politics strike again. Read the book, if you like it, great. If not, do not read it. AntiOnline is not even run by JP anymore, so who cares?
I read the first one, that how i found out about this site.
How come nobody seems to give her much credit on this site?

Want to know how they do it? How to defend? How to fight back?

I try to stay out of the slandering biz, but quoting the matrix? come-on! ... but maybe this book is targeted at 14 year old boys.
I think her marketing is kinda lame, but I have no doubts about her abilities.
this is from our friends at nmap.org :D

Yes the book is aimed at 14 year olds and so is her site,(isn't it obvious?) , No matter peoples personal dislike of her , she does provide a positive model and ethics for kids. Really every sysadmin out there should be happy she does what she does, cause it means less kiddies out there causing trouble. Would you rather kids spend time at bl4CkH4th4xx0rs.com ?
Personally i think she is a great person for sharing this type of info while making people interested in the technology as well as how people can misuse it and trying to keep people on the good side of hacking. She makes plenty of good points and isnt afraid of people hating her for what she does. I have learned alot from her but as every learning source you have to visit other places and talk to other people to make the most out of your knowledge. It is just a personal opinion and i know not everyone thinks the same. But i truly commend her for the resource she is.

I usually stay out of, discussion such as this. But in the time I have seriously been studying computers I have gone to her site a couple times. And alot of her info is just plan stupid. I mean I got something around her I gotta find it were she was talking about getting root. On a RH box. and half the **** she said made no damn sense. If I know anything about any Linux Box RH is it. I will say this. I think that she should worry more about the quality of her work.
But in the area, of Security, she does. Help keep kiddies out. By helping with the Morals thing.
I got some more. But I will keep it to myself for now.

You can get expelled warning: Some kids have been kicked out of school just for bringing up a DOS prompt on a computer. Be sure to get a teacher's WRITTEN permission before demonstrating that you can hack on a school computer.
14 year olds? More like 12 yr old daredevils :P
--Edit--
Lumpy porridge- That site gave me a 404 error when I looked at it.. I guess I'd rather have people looking at a page that actually exists rather than stare at a 404 error :)
