My first rant

Hello my name is Ennis, some of you may know from bumming around these forums, some of you from my rare IRC chats, some of you even from my obscure musings elsewhere.

I don't rant much, I dont flame much, in fact I try to make AO a nicer place, especially this forum which I am lucky enough to mod.

But I decided to have a rant when I was forced to close one of my own threads, you know the How to act to newbies thread which attempted to solve some of the flaming problems here then amazingly became a flame thread itself.

I just wonder how that can happen, so if you have a rant post it here, join me and keep it out of other threads. Consider this my official bitching thread that most likely wont get closed unless MsMittens or Neg decide to and thats cool with little old me.

This is to nightfalls, I think RiOter has more then enough AP's to be called a senior, and i don't think he really cares as much about AP's as when someone first joins. You are really pathetic, i gave positive points a few times but now i regrett it because you don't deserve one damn point you have. You post bullshit, cause riots, cuz flame wars, it hink that many of us Senior agree that you should stop posting bullshit or be banned.

As for any other members, i don't have any problems with them. And i rather think she enjoyes what i just said about her being the flame war causer, she feels special now. It's okay, I regularly make up new words, particularly when drunk. My latest addition to the english language is "thank youing", it is a verb.

lmao, I agree, Nightfalls Girl, I've yet to see you post a good post, with words acctually spelt right, I have yet to see you acctually post in any other forum besides GCC, with a tech related post, and becasue of that "non-sencial" thread, you're post (whore) count has gone way up.
And don't start on me with that "U DNOT NO ME" bullshit... I own the IRC server you come on constantly. And from that, I can determine what you are like...


Now for my rant about SCO, Linux, Microsoft, BSD, and the "Open Source Mess"

First off, SCO, let's see the code, enough of that "You have to sign a non-discloser agreement" bullshit, if you want people to believe you, publicly show us the code, it would help your case a lot, (Not that I want you selfish asses to win).

Linux users won't give up, and major Linux companies like IBM, HP, RedHat, and the newest edition, Novell won't give up. I even read somewheres that HP would help and support anyone SCO is taking action against. Also I've read that SCO could possibly be taking actions against Google, becasue it was just a large site, with a huge Linux cluster, well, SCO, let me put it this way, there are more companies growing against you every single day.

I'll rant some more about theese things later, but I have to go now, and install Linux (SuSE 9 :-D) on my computer.

Oh, and nice SCO rant MB. I have to admit that since my most pressing rant right now has to do with doctors, health insurance, and the family court system in the state of Florida, it would be quite dull to the majority of the members here, so I'll keep it to myself.

so moving on - christmas shopping...omg how i hate it >_<
its like dodgems - can't even walk down the street without like 50 people trying to push you out of the way - and not one single one of them ever has any manners - ok yes i too have occasionaly bumped into someone - but when i do i have the common decency to say sorry at least - hell i do it automaticaly, sometimes even when peope bump into me and not the other way round!
would it take so much time out of their busy lives to stop for a sec and say "oops sorry"
or even avoid the whole thing by using 2 lil words "excuse me"
its been so long since i heard anyone use them that i have begun to wonder if they are included in recent editions of the dictionary!!

like whats the rush?? doesn't matter how quick you get to the shops your gonna have to queue for like an hr just to get to the checkout anyways - thats if you can fight your way past the other people just to view the few crappy items thats left on the shelves - the store staff themselves are not much better - i can understand that having to spend all day in a xmas shopping madhouse must be a lil annoying but thats what they are getting paid for!

and the worst bit is once the whole rush to buy xmas gifts is over then its the Jan sales and it all begins again >_<;

Perhaps you didn't read the name of this topic, it is a topic to rant about whatever we want, and it appears NFG has gotten on other peoples nerves. You know there is going to be rants about other members in a thread dedicated to rants, or atleast you should.
