I'm not sure how wide spread the McDonalds: "I'm Lovin it " marketing attempt is but in the ChiTown area it's all over.
Personally the ad's have driven me away from McDonalds, how do you feel?

Personally, I don't care for McDonalds. If I wanted to eat cardboard... then I'd get it free from a recycling station.
Did you see the superbowl McDonalds commercial? Where the guy is eating a burger and watching a football game. The wife asks him to check the laundry. He puts his burger wrapper on top of the dryer. At that point, he is watching the game while trying to change the clothes over. After putting the clothes in the dryer, he reaches for the fabric softner sheets (not looking). He accidentially grabs the McD's burger wrapper and puts that in the dryer. The next shot is of his wife doing the dishes and he walks by her and smells her shirt. Then starts smelling it over and over supposedly turning him on. Then they go at some face sucking...
Def. different for a McD's commercial. I was surprised to see that....
BTW: How did you like the Janet and Justin halftime performance? If you missed it... its already on fileswap networks....

"ba da da da da I'm loving it!" :D
lol LarryKingSux! Only thing is, I'm not lovin' Mcdonalds. Burger King has better fries then Macdonalds.
i m fed up of McDonalds' burgers...
now i hate them...
n the ad is not that good either...
much distracting...
McDonalds is the epitome of everything I hate.
I think we might be missing the point of the ad campaign. An ad campaign is designed to be easily remembered, and something that sticks out in your mind. How many of us, regardless of whether we like McDonalds or not, didn't instantly hear "ba da ba da da I'm lovin it" in our minds when we read the title of this thread? From that perspective, it's an excellent campaign. It may irritate those of you who don't like McDonalds and don't eat there, but for the masses that do eat there, they've got that little jingle running thru their minds all morning while they're at work cause they heard it on the radio on their commute to work, and subconsciously, their mind is on McDonald's all morning long, so where do they go for lunch? McDonalds.
why'd they have to change the nuggets???
I hate the Mcdonald's commercials, but i guess it goes along with their crappy food pretty well. seeing as they both suck.
I can't say I hate Mcdonalds, and not just because I'm a chunk punk either. But that was the place where I worked for 3 years, and came up with a scam that gave me free money from the cash register without it showing up. So, thank you Mcdonalds, for paying me absolute **** per hour, to the point when I paid my bills I had no money left over whatsoever, inspiring me in a creative way to rip fast food places off. $200.00 in cash per night extra is great! And I taught all my friends how to do it too. Maybe when that $9,000.00 comes up missing someday, they will realise it sure as hell was not paid to an employee.
They make absolute dog **** for cash, and a few people working there had no toher job, trying to live off of fast food money is not only bad, but hard. Well....That is, it WAS, untill I did some chatting with the tech dude who fixed registers, and found out a few things he didn't realise he told me. The registers at the one I worked at were all digital. You didn't push painted buttons, you pushed a touch screen.
After finding out that it was a POSIX complient OS running on them, I found out a few ways to make it look like money was going back to customers in change, when really it was going in my pocket. I wasn't ripping customers off, as they got back all the change they would have gotten back, I just found a way to make there total smaller than it really was, except it only showed up on my register, and looked valid on the nightly print out, enabling me to grab cash.
Don't even tell me how wrong you think it is, I only did it a few times when I was hard up for cash, and if you have seen how some people are treated in these places, you wouldn't even think twice about it.
Oh, and for that thing happening to burger king. Well, one of my friends got caught. We aren't in any trouble though, the person that caught him is a friend, so we got off free. Just can't do it at that particular KFC anymore. Burger Kinng on the other hand is still fair game.
And Wendy's, the place I worked at, that has ****ed me out of 500 dollars in pay....I almost feel bad for what's happening to them.....Na.
The owner hated me, and a manager there did to. The manager used to call me a ****ing bastard all the time and say I was fat before I had lost all the weight. Well, she would then say "Oh I'm only joking, shut up". I was like ok, two can play this game, and I would take a shot back at her.
Well, I didn't know she was leaving notes for the owner every night, letting her know what I had said. She would leave out what she said to me, and only leave notes about what I said back. Also she would put down I didn't do anything, and that I swore at her all day, and that I would bitch about everything.
The owner of course didn't come up to me and ask if I actually did it, she just believed my manager and took me off the schedual. Then a few weeks later my friend got fired. But my other friend is a manager there and so I get informed.
Basically everyone there cares about no one but themselves except a few people, and the rest are just....Well, bitches honestly. They **** you over in anyway they can. For example, working in the drive through I was taking orders, and then taking money. Well, it was windy as hell out and this lady tossed a $20.00 bill at me like I was supposed to catch it.
Of course it blew under her car. I had to run outside, and as I looked back she was trying to pick it up, I got outside and it was no where to be found. The manager said, she had to give that lady her money back because he wouldn't move untill she had her money and food. She got it. Now guess whos pocket the $20.00 came out of.
I had to take money I got for Christmas, and put it in my register, or they would take it out of my check, after writing me up. Also, they do NOT pay for overtime. If you work over 40 hours, they don't pay you for it, they add it to your next check. Most of this is illegal according to a business teacher I had a few semesters ago.
3 of my manager friends have been fired because the owner would accuse them of stealing money. The owner threatened my friend with calling the police to try and scare him into just paying it. He of course listens to me a bit more, and said "Go ahead, I know I havn't done anything wrong, call the cops".
The owner of course was shocked and said, well you really want me to? I will! Taunting him. He said yes. Of course she did not call them as what she was doing was illegal. She steals money and then blames other people. Greedy ****ing ****.
I think I'll feel great after I short out the power to that place ;) I know where everything is in there. The first few times the manager threatened to fire me I started looking around. Should be easy.
