Last I checked the latest constitutional amendment was passed wayyyy back 1992? Perhaps the author is speaking of proposed amendments? They could be some of these perhaps? Some of the PROPOSED amendments Ted Kennedy might even agree with, if he wasn’t so blinded by hatred.

Here is one negative will like from the 107th congress, also a G.W.B. congress if you believe that every Bill in movement is the "fault" of a current president - “To allow for any person who has been a citizen of the United States for twenty years or more to be eligible for the Presidency” I definitely don’t agree with a few of the latest one’s or some introduced the past that still linger in the halls of Washington. The value has steadily increased over its history so each successive slump will be more of a change when devalue occurs. It really was Timothy McVeigh, although he did mass murder children attending Daycare. No the list doesn't offend me; I was having fun with it. It does offend intelligence though. For instance, I took the mild one's like the constitution thing, wave that around and you can get all kinds of people to jump on your bandwagon, whatever the cause or motivation. He has never passed any amendment and he isn't even close to being the president who has proposed the most. So it's... how do I say it nice - a trump to appease the mass hysteria-surrounding baby bushy and feed the clique? I have come to think of Bush as a kind of wuss, I am completely surprised at his lack of support from the left. So I believe it's only really 2 things and the rest no one really cares about because I can see evidence in their constant swings on either side of the political coin. Such as Bush didn’t do enough to prevent 911 and he’s doing too much to prevent another 911. He’s creating more government and giving more power to the police! But lets perform a witch-hunt and impeach him for failing to force the police powers to work together and strong arm defense before 911. Doesn’t wash, so the result is they don’t really (actually) care.

These 2 things are this, he's a republican and he's a Christian. He’s not even that far right in his policies, but he’s a Christian and that is evil. Even though every president parades around with a bible and pretends to be religious to set well with those that care about that stuff. I personally don’t but respect those who do. It’s too crazy for me to grasp. I would place a bet that the list wasn’t even made up by Americans.

If one was really critical about politics they would have an even sharper eye on the horizon at any who enter this arena and what they are saying and doing, and have done in the past. I bet many on the left side of this coin have never even thought, who the hell is Kerry going to get for a vice president!? What game is he playing? Along with a whole slew of other stuff. The big buzz word around Bush for 2002 and 2003 was he was dishonest and a liar. The man has been criticized for not being a great speaker, and he totally sucks at it - but Kerry pisses and pukes all over himself anytime I see him in Public. I am relieved that you clarified your opinion. I was kind of worried that you might be a GWB supporter. I tend to vote for the person, not the party. But I have not seen a good candidate for the president in my entire life. It seems to me that most of our politicians start out with good intentions. Then after they take office; the corruption monsters take over.

A paranoid individual might think that there is some secret orginization that "really" pulls the strings. That our political system is actually a front for some sort of privately operated syndicate of individuals with a totally different agenda in mind. Screw the general "nobody" population, we have a better plan in mind, this is our plan and nobody is going to stand in our way, nobody! Lets invent a political administration to keep the masses looking at some "puppet" orginization. We will create a few problems in this administration to keep their tiny minds focused on some drivel, we will stir it up once in a while to keep it scandolous. I am relieved that you clarified your opinion. I was kind of worried that you might be a GWB supporter. I tend to vote for the person, not the party. But I have not seen a good candidate for the president in my entire life. It seems to me that most of our politicians start out with good intentions. Then after they take office; the corruption monsters take over.

A paranoid individual might think that there is some secret orginization that "really" pulls the strings. That our political system is actually a front for some sort of privately operated syndicate of individuals with a totally different agenda in mind. Screw the general "nobody" population, we have a better plan in mind, this is our plan and nobody is going to stand in our way, nobody! Lets invent a political administration to keep the masses looking at some "puppet" orginization. We will create a few problems in this administration to keep their tiny minds focused on some drivel, we will stir it up once in a while to keep it scandolous. All the time we will be doing what we want with no opposition... MWOOWAHAHAHA!

At least bush means what he sayz and says what he means. I wasn't liking him much when he came into office but I changed my opinion on how he handled matters after Sept. 11th. I dont think anyone can argue on that. Hate him or not, at least don't deny how he handled things...Most liberals are very quick to judging him...and not even ONCE did they compliment him...

Warren Harding is widely considered the worst President in American history. Financial impropriety was rampant in the administration. Harding died of natural causes while in office.

Your right, we should attack OPEC since THEY set the prices in order to curb demand and control production based on their formulas for market outlook and volatility. The price index looks like the stock market with highs and lows but always ever climbing up. Presidents have never used the natural reserves outside of gross emergencies, they are there to support tragedies and sustain attacks against the country. Using them up would only delay the price change and destroy our reserves. Gasoline prices have actually spiked a few times in the past. Around the early 80s gas prices went to 2 bucks a gallon in some places. Not sure how many follow world trade but I don’t see how Bush is doing anything but trying to keep the cost down. Gas prices are setting records everyday these past few weeks. During Bush Sr. term I remember gas prices being super low, did he have any real effect on that? Nope… they were even cheaper than back in the 1800s . lol Petroleum is a commodity, some attempt to track it very closely . Well it wasn't quite as cheap as the 1800s, those prices were for 5 gallons but gas was well below a dollar in the late 80s.

Including the treasury? See Stock Market comments earlier. Credit is too easy to get and companies almost willingly place people into a position of failure. It's also and easy way out of debt. Clinton's act of 1994 also made it faster to file. The 80s and 90s saw record bankruptcies during cyclic economy downturns in each decade. Whether or not there was more in Bushy's term is inconclusive. I could be wrong. Ok I glanced through history and other presidents have taken some long holidays. President Johnson was famous for his frequent Texas BBQs, what’s with those Texans and their ranches? Who was the president who spent the most time vacationing? Bushy Fish? Nope from what I can see it’s Truman. He spent more than 6 months during his 7 years as president at his ranch. Of course if GW get re-elected he may actually live up to that, he would need another few months.

Eisenhower took an eight year vacation. The only thing you would see in the papers and hear of on the news was the president is playing golf, playing bridge, is sick, is resting at Camp David, ect.
I listed him in aeallison's thread as who I consider the all time worst president, so I don't consider George to be out of line in taking what time off he can, when he can. (and I don't like Bush, he scares the hell out of me)

Kerry doesn't scare you? Do you listen to his speeches to different people? Have you read his web site and see his written words versus his public offerings to the people? I can't make heads or tails and still to this day WHO THE HELL IS HE RUNNING WITH???

Kerry needs to settle on a subject...he's contradicting himself from what he's quoted saying just a year ago. He has switched his campaign ad over 4 times...and he constantly contradicts himself about things that he has done and has said. He has admited to breaking the geneva convetion and has admited to have participated in atrocities againts the vietnamese. He admited to have taken part in humiliation and murdering of hundreds of vietnamese civilians, cutting their genitals off, using .50mm machine guns. Its all on tape.
