I like John Carry, doesnt matter how many waffle or other stuff brings up his website:)
He's the flip-flop King. I won't get started in on the politics, though. :s
VOTE BUSH!
mathgirl, I'm surprised! VOTE KERRY!! :D
If you're for traditional American values, keep Kerry, and his band of merry libs; out of the whitehouse.

I just read the press release on John Kerry's web site (top press release at the moment) about the rising price of gas/petrol and I want to say one thing about it:
Will you Americans stop f'ing whinging about how much stuff costs! You think $2/gallon is bad? Try coming over to the UK - our petrol costs are approaching £4/gallon, which is at least three times what you pay even when you consider the exchange rate.
I really don't care who wins the next presidential election, from what I have seen and heard from both mainstream candidates they're both saying practically the same thing, going on about America's independance from the rest of the world and how they still think they can work without everyone else. Obviously they have not learnt the lessons of the past three years which have quite clearly shown that no country can go it alone in today's world.
If I'm correct, Michael Savage's real name is Michael Weiner... :D
Hey, Kerry's lucky he was associated with waffles. Bush got hit with "miserable failure"
Good Point Dopp! I had forgoten about that.
Pwaring is right about one thing. Our gas is very inexpensive compared to most of Europe. As for the rest....well this isn't Cosmos, so I'll keep my comments to myself.
ROFL
I had never seen these before... worth a good laugh. :)
How did someone set something like that up?
Or, did google do it?
The technique is called Google Bombing, and it's pretty easy:
There... I just helped them :DCode:waffles
If you have enough websites doing this, eventually Google will link "johnkerry.com" to "waffles".
There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have
an oil shortage here in America.
Well, there's a very simple answer -- nobody bothered to check the
oil. We just didn't know we were getting low.
The reason for that is purely geographical. All our oil is in Alaska, Texas,
California and Oklahoma.
All of our dipsticks are in Washington, D.C.

Sorry, this was a joke somebody sent me

i dont consider myself a republican, they are just too far to the left for my tastes. but given the alternatives...bush all the way!
not to mention Louisianna and the off shore fillds of the mid-atlantic states (MD threw NY and the moritorium is almost up). the reason we ran low on oil...well actually we haven't. we have the resources to be the fourth largest oil exporter in the world with an economy to match. and we were until OPEC screwed us to show the west what kind of power they have. what they did was by all definitions an act of war. maybe next (this) time they'll think twice before they do something like that.Quote:

I thought the Republicans were on the right and the Democrats were on the left (a rather crude distinction, but you get the idea)?Quote:

Neither of them are any where near the left especially by syandards outside the US. They are all lackies of big business.
But then again I would rather see Bush than Kerry any day.
And Tedob The Republican party is a little to the left, they are often used as an example of the farthest right you can get in a democracy.
