Read the help file that came with it and you have to run it in the command prompt.

As far as I remember SoftICE should start before Windows so you need to have it somewhere in a batch file. Maybe newer version can be started from within the OS.

P.S. I'm curious on what kind of forensics SoftICE is useful for.. I've never thought of the program like that.

I won't state again that this is a double post of the same thread in different threads. My question about why you would use SoftICE for forensics is now answered... plus, it's annoying to post a useless poll.
