Gee, I wonder what this is for...
So let me get this straight, you wanna put almost a gig of vcd onto a 700mb cd-rw???
if I could:)
I know.... Zip it, burn it then reprogram the DVD..... It can't be any harder than programming a VCR can it?
Can you put 948 Oreos (double stuffed) in a cookie jar that can only hold 700 cookies?
Nop, but if it is VCD I'm sure I can put 800
Absolutely. You turn the Oreos into powder, and pour it in the jar.Quote:

Barov, NO , it will be quite difficult to put it in a 700mb CD.
Tiger you really believe it will compress that much? I highly doubt it.
Ya know.... I _really_ didn't think I needed to put the little "winky" thingy, (;)), there for this one but Cybrid managed to prove me wrong...... :eek:Quote:

Anyway, I answered your question earlier, in a sarcastic manner...
It is a simple answer: no it can't be done.
However you can put 900 mb onto a DVD disc just get yourself a DVD burner and a DVD and BAM you got a 942MB DVD full of fun and entertainment.

P.S. - You are going to need to hook the new DVD burner up to your computer before burning the DVD ;)
Actually, it may be possible. Check out http://www.kvcd.org/portal/index.php They have templates that work with the tmpgENC encoder that suppossedly allow this to happen. I have no idea if it really works though and just remember coming across that site at one time...
If anyone tries this out let me know if it actually works and how the quality is.
Yes it does, Scriptkiddie18 is over and he encoded a movie with TMPegnc, the size after the encoding was aroubd 850 megs, he burned the DVD, It was near DVD quality when we watched the movie. Not all DVD player will play it though, i know mine does, but a friends doesnt. !Quote:
