Aren't ALL Nickelback songs the same?
They put on a decent live show.
That comparison is hilarious.
Not to bust your chops or anything RC, but check this out...

Lol, love the finger.
I saw Ozzy do the same thing back in the glory days when he was hit upside the head with a budweiser bottle. I saw King Diamond spit on a **** for tossing rocks at him as well. It's endless. :D
i knew i liked nickelback for a reason.... must be cause their songs are pretty much the same ;)
It's because they are Canadian. :D
I like nickleback...they got some decent songs. C'mon wtf do you expect from Portugal anyways...sorry but they wouldn't understand rock & roll if it hit em square in the face....
Pink Floyd to the wizard of Oz is a good thing. ;)
Dark Side of the Moon (A Floyd album for those who haven't been saved by the rock and roll gods)
is based entirely off of wizard of oz. If you really pay attention to the lyrics you can figure it out. Takes some real listening and reading between the lines, but it's there. Waters announced that at some point. I don't know when though. 70's obviously, so I might have trouble finding a link to it for those who don't believe.

Enjoy: it's set so you watch the movie AND synch the album.................
Grr damn dial up... I won't be watching that anytime soon unfortunately.
You can watch it if you get the DVD and Dark side of the Moon.
All you need to do is start the cd at the third roar of the MGM lion.
It should sink perfectly if you start and immediately pause the cd until the lion roars.
Hmmm... have I done this a lot :p
Smugly watches and smirks at the Pink Floyd / Wizzard of Oz site on Broadband........... :D

By the way at the end of Dark Side of the Moon, after you hear "There is no dark side of the moon really. As a matter of fact it's all dark ..." you can faintly hear some music playing. Strangely enough it's an orchestral version of The Beatles' Ticket to Ride. Both Pink Floyd and The Beatles recorded at Abbey Roads Studios and they, at times, contributed to each other in one fashion or another; certainly, at times tapes would have been erased and reused. Anyone know why they chose Ticket to Ride?
These Rumor are so popular that it is purported that album sales and video rentals significantly jumped as the story circulated. For more fun links, check out Yahoo! where even their popular "Ask Yahoo!" Q&A forum has been pulled into this legend!
Bugger, i was going to put some muse on the cd.......................I'll have to put dark side of the moon on now, just to see.
There is no way im watchinh wizard of oz though. :)
HAHA, nice Vids soda! haha and i've have to agree to djscribble, lol maybe thats why i like them haha
I knew about this for a few years now about Pink Floyd and the Wizard Of Oz I love the album Darkside Of the Moon yes i said album b/c i still got the vinyl one :D
BTW i got tickets for the Ozzfest 2004 at the Tweeter Center at the Waterfront
Camden, NJ on Aug.26 :D
I am a pink floyd fanatic and I heard about this but had no data or pursued it. This is going to freak my out I know it.
Me still got the vinyl too, me got the picture disc version, very cool.
Am going to HAVE to get WoO on DVD, AND a CD version of DSotM.
This will crack me up, as I cannot synch with bloody Karaoke.........
Nothing to do at all with this topic but I will say it anyways. The new slipknot album sounds alot like a pink floyd album , and strangely enough it is called Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses. Maybe they tried to do the same thing...?
No apologies for the bump :
But I didn't get WoOz for Xmas.
AND I'VE STILL not seen / heard the two together.............................
Any updates from out there ?
Did get Pink Floyd DSotM on CD, along with some red wine, wine has gone :drink:
which led me to here ...........
I got to see Floyd back in the 70's was soooo cool. What i remembered seeing anyway!
They got the speakers mixed up, left is Someday and the right is How You Remind Me...
[edit] I guess it all depends on speakers... mine are interchangable so no difference.. [/edit]
And by the way, that's how you sell albums. =) And I do like Nickelback so meh... no suprise.
