Yes thank you... I'm dying to tell people... there is only one thing... We did the official announcement in front of her family this weekend. None of my friends and family know. They have just agreed to meet with me Friday at a club for a drink in which Alana and I will share the news.

I met Alana a while back; we met at a bar after a strange incident. I was playing cards with my brother and some friends when a huge argument broke out and everyone decided to leave. Since I was frustrated and wanted to get out, I dragged my buddy Ace to the bar with me to play a couple games of pool (billiards) and have a few beers. We were waiting for the table when the guy rudely claimed he reserved it all night. Since we paid a cover charge we decided to stay and drink anyway. About 30 minutes in the music started going, but no one was dancing so I asked this girl (Alana) to help me get everything started and she had declined for the moment. A few moments’ later people started dancing, so I decided to give Alana her space and pick another individual to dance with. However, the whole time I noticed Alana was watching me out of the corner of my eye. So I left the girl I was dancing with and went back to Alana, we talked, go to know each other and were both invited to a friend of her's house party. Everyone got trashed and actually stayed at the house party, the next morning Alana's friend Melissa's boyfriend showed up to pick up Melissa and Alana. This is where I found out I know Melissa's boyfriend Preston from work. Preston asked if I wanted to go out with him and hang out while the girls went home and got dressed, so I flew home, got changed and went out with Preston until we met up with the girls again. Then we went to help a buddy of Preston set up for a party when I notice Preston's friend Dean is also a friend of my brother (YES I AGREE THIS WAS GETTING REAL WEIRD). We continued to hang out and help Dean until it got late and we went out to the bar. That wrapped up the first weekend, for the next few weeks we spent the weekends as a foursome with her friends, then we started making it a foursome with my best friends and then I started going up to Boston every weekend to meet her Family and spend time with her at her place and now we swap on and off. Since I have meet and became close with her friends and family and we had such a great time with each other I thought it was time to propose. We had gone out for a the night and was having a really great time and as we were starting to walk up to her place she had made the comment, I hope this lasts forever we always have such a good time. At that moment I mumbled something under my breath so she would ask me to repeat and turn around and when she did I was on one knee with the ring.

We are planning for our engagement pictures and we have been to a couple events in which we are awaiting pictures from, so it should be soon enough. At this current moment none of "MY" friends or family know, I invited everyone to come down to the pub for a drink Friday evening and we will surprise them there.
It is so hard to keep this secret.
