I am being hacked at this term, it is not coming through the phone lines but rather through the airwaves. I was told I need to buy some kind of RF shilding.
What is this and where would I buy it?
Are there any other ways to prevent these attacks on my system?
Any help/advice would be great

A: Home. It is an emachines, windows me, Inland pro comm 3500 base that the monitor sets on.

A: Do not know what OS is, sorry.
Why do you think you are being "hacked"?
A: Not only does my mouse react differently but my keys will be rearanged so to speak. Example of this would be the space bar=deleat, enter=backspace, backspace=insert and so on. There are many other ways I can tell also.
What external devices do you have attached other than a modem/phone line?
A: emachine modem, umax scaner, printer, monitor and base it sets on that all of the componets work through (get there power) Dial up service.
Do you have a wireless card?
A: Not that I know of

A: Contact with the Electronic Crime Task Force. I am having an harassment issue here at this is part of it.

As for FR Shielding and what it is:
Very basicaly, FR stands for radio frequency. There are manufacturers who make equipment that is designed to reduce the emitions of radio waves, this can take the form of a metalized fabrique, this is then used as a gasket or sheet to prevent radio waves passing through.

A point here though, FR/EMI shielding is very expensive, so much so i would think it cost prohibitive for most users.
It is possible to reduse the footprint of your wireless equipment, that is to say the area you are transmitting to. Without going to the cost of using FR shielding. This can be achieved by carefull possitioning of the equipment and i will list a few things below:
1/Radio waves are recieved at the strongest signal strength when direct line of site is achieved, so if you can deny an attacker this, it will reduse there chances of success.
2/Radio waves attenuate, (effectivly they get weaker) due to obsticles, distance, type of ground and atmospheric conditions. So look at ways to put as many walls, desks furniture etc, between your equipment and potentual attack locations, you will not be able to control the atmospheric condions obviously in the home envireoment.
3/Electicity interfears with radio waves, so look at the possibility of masking them with electric or electronic appliances.
4/If you suspect someone is hacking your wireless network, take a wonder around the outside of you location, who ever it is will almost certainly be within 100 meters. They will have a laptop or PDA with them, so should not be to hard to spot. Then take apropriate action.

I'm very curious how they came to the conclusion that you were being hacked via RF... did they explain to you why they thought this? Did they examine your computer? Or did you just tell them you thought you were hacked and they gave you that answer?

Try scanning with the links I provided and remove any malware you have received. If I were you, I'd upgrade your OS (Windows ME) to at least Windows 2000 and if your computer will support it... then use XP. Windows ME is a very easy operating system to "hack". XP with the correct settings will make it damn near impossible... especially of a workstation when you are offering no services.
Then get yourself a fresh start. (new email addresses and new passwords along with up2date antivirus and a firewall) I would suggest Norton Internet Security to you as it is a very easy to learn software internet security solution.
There are several threads regarding the security of Windows 2000 or XP and there is no need to repeat that here.

I think you should see a doctor. And if you ate seeing a doctor and he's believing or adding to this story in your head you should see a new doctor.
ummm.... that is a tuffy for me i am not to sure of being hacked through air waves or something like that. I may be mistaking correct me if i am wrong but i think the only way that is possible is with a wireless card in there but the only other way i could see is if you use faxing maby or e mail maby but it has to be through the phone line i am thinkenn but then again i may be wrong.
What I beleive they are reffering to is TEMPEST eavsdropping.. But then I read the website.
I would suggest you follow the advice to see a doctor, first a physian then a psycoligist. If using your computer is adding to your problems, turn it off and take care of other prioritys. either repair your PC, take it to a repair shop, or purchase a new one, or just leave PC alone for a while. If you have solid proof that someone is stalking you, call the police. you will need real evidence such as pictures of the assailents and witnesses wouldn't hurt. And seek professional mediacal attention.
Face it people..... Tracey is Nucking Futs.... No amount of help on your part will alter the fact that her hackers exist only in her head as do the pains in her eyes and her head when they attack her via RF....

Those of you that responed with helpful answers, I think you, as some of the information was useful.
The ones that for what ever reason would like to point fingers and so on should look at the above link. A crazy as it sounds, this is a very real problem we will all face if laws do not change. If you would have taken the time to READ my harassment logs, you would find copys of letters to and from members of congress and so on, along with other more detailed information on this type of crime.

But reading abit more I can see some truth in her/his story. You could just rip open a microwave and use it as a HPM. Microwaves work on high frequency waves. These could be directed using an antenna (the military uses the same technology in radar). People that live underneath a high power cable seem to have the same physical symptoms.
But as everyone (with some RF knowledge) knows, if something sends out a signal, you can trace it.
You'll need a directional antenna and something that picks up the signal and displays it's strength. With some trail and error and a bit of triangulation you should be able to find out where the signal is coming from.
Once you know where the sending antenna is.....
If all else fails put a Faraday cage around your house.

The voices say that the are a combination of law enforcement and/or Mafia. On the side they are telling Tracey about the drug deals they are setting up. Then they have acquired help from the neighborhood. these lookouts must have some control of the weapon because the voice to skull changes when people visit.....Quote:

The reason I see for this is simple, They tell all of the victims friends and family that the victim (me in this case) is crazy and has mental problems, now in order to keep up the front and to keep them from telling the victim anything they need to make it look that way.
If you look carefully, just at the excert from the blog above you will notice it's disjointed prose, caused by jisjointed thought patterns. The whole thing is extremely indicative of a paranoid person.
Tracey, rather than spending time writing to the feds do yourself a favor.... Go down to the local hospital and tell them your story. It really would be best for you.

Come on folks, I had asked for hacking help, nothing more. I am glad you took time to look me up and read my log, but it would seem you did not take the time to look up more information, more to the point FREQUENCY WEAPONS.
If any of you do this, you will find a "body frequency list", this list has the desired frequencys reguired to attack the human body, and comes from much military, and other research. If you look futher, you will find the plans and blueprints needed to build your very own device and attack your unwanted neighbors. For now anyway.
There is nothing sophisticated or top secret about it, it is on the open market today, and more dangerous then a handgun could ever be.
As for "voice to skull" transmittions, any ham radio operator can do this. It is nothing more then bouncing a microwave signal, much like how your cell phones work. Childs play these days, and there have been 14 year old childern and others arrested for nothing this very thing.
As for drug dealing, they only wish they knew what they were doing, how I know this, I grew up around some of them.
Last, Believe what you will, but try to keep an open mind and remember this is the year 2004, not 1954 when this was top secert.

Though, I consider an eMachine with Windows Me on it as a weapon against the mind all by itself. I know WinMe caused me lots of headaches and inner voices. :D

On a serious note, WindowsMe needs to go. It was a rushed out OS on Microsoft's part and has more problems with it that you can shake a memory stick at. Upgrading to XP would definately be a good idea.
Do you remember the domed shaped aluminum sleds for kids, about the size of a garbage can lid with two plastic handles to hold on to? (well living in texas maybe you don’t). these toys were manufactured using an old press made for radar dishes and are perfect parabolic reflectors. If you believe you know the location of the transmitter get one or more of these sleds and just point it back at them.

A: They desired effect when started was to destroy my girlfriend and my own lifes. It has shifted to stopping me from testifying against them in court today.

Have you called your ISP and asked them to test your system?

Actually a form of targeted hypersonic sound waves does exist, kind of makes me wonder if you could in fact make somebody "Hear voices in their head"(in the crazy kind of way) with it, though you have to be rather close. Think what you want, I'm just tossing some relevant information out.

I am here defending the science.. Hey here is a trick.. read about the Hetrodyne effect.. this is a principle used in some of the crazy stuff mentioned by tracy.. though not a term he used..
Then a quick read about it would have told you that the science works because the two ultrasound beams carrying the sound information do not allow the sound out until they are interfered with by something solid like a wall or the human head.... This would also include a pane of glass. Thus, if Tracey is inside his house it's going to be pretty hard to keep him constantly in a targeted beam that isn't interfered with by walls, windows etc. As soon as the beams become interfered with then anyone in the close vicinity will be able to hear the same voices hence the potential application for surround sound without rear speakers - aim the beams at the wall behind the spectators and the sound emanates from behind them because the rear wall has interfered with the beams. I thought at first to stay far away from this thread... I have to bite though as my scientific thoght processes are giving him the benifit of doubt. The man does have a serious problem, we have acertained that so far. I am also inclined to think that this is not just so much fiction.
Tracy, are there any electrical substations or high tension power lines in your vacinity? Any kind of industry that might be producing a large amount of EMF (Electro-Magnetic Force) nearby? I know this sounds silly, but try it if you haven't already... have you tried lining a room of your home with tinfoil and grounding it to a cold water pipe. This won't stop EMF but will help to shield RF waves. I hold an Advanced Extra class H.A.M. license and do understand RF and am very versed in wireless transmission methods.
For the skeptics out there, EMF can cause the symtoms and results Tracy has mentioned. EMF can also be attributed to alien abduction experiences and has been studied scientifically. I remember an article I found on the internet that showed studies made by some scientific agency that used some sort of helmet on a person that would describe alien abduction symptoms when exposed to EMF. I will try to find some reference to this today, it has been a while since I saw it.
Tracy,I might also suggest you find someone with a Big-ol-fatty blunt and smoke it with him/her. You would be amazed how much this could help your peace of mind. ;)

I would like to think all of you for your input/feedback. I just read the post from all of you and some of it has been quit insightful. While some I find very amusing, as I myself had a hard time with the whole issue at the beginning. I would like to point out that I have seen psychiatrist, I have seen a total of six in order to get this crime being committed against myself (and others) in to court. There is no mental illness, and I am no more insane, crazy or what ever you label it then most people. I will agree, I am not a scientist, but I do learn fast.
I will also tell you that microwave hearing is a common practice in law enforcement these days, and is used in undercover work. Example of this would be so a cop outside can communicate with his undercover partner inside a location, there by warning them of incoming danger with out others in the room being aware of anything going on. It can also be recorded with radio shack tape players, as I myself have done this and captured the mysterious voice on tape. also Patriots can pick this up and have even repeated the words.
Microwave hearing is easy to accomplish, and has been around since the 1950’s. There is lots of information on-line if you look using that search word. And you your self can do this very same thing to your friends. Beware, they might beat your back side, it is quit intrusive.
As for frequency type of weapons, they have also been around for a great many years, while most require line of sight, not all are limited to this. You can also find lots of information on-line about them also just by using the search word “frequency weapons” You can find a list of “Human Body Frequency's” on line also.
You can build your own (I am sure most of you can do this) for less then $200.00 using nothing more then Radio Shack supplies and can complete this task in one afternoon with no special tools required. While my case is a little more involved with the use of repeaters and other devices in play, the information speaks for its self if a person takes the time to research the topic. There are presently three cases in US courts and two in other countries in progress at this time dealing with this type of crime.
Below is just a part of the hacking program I managed to capture one night. I have also captured more detailed but can not post yet. The only reason for this is to cost me money and time while trying to piss me off.. It would serve no other purpose.
