Apart from eating batteries for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between? Nope...
well i read they need to be changed around every 3 months if in use a lot ! what if you don't type anything ? are they still being used ?
My keyboard and mouse are wireless logitech as well. My keboard takes two Regular AA batteries ever 6 months or so with daily use and always draining power (my computer is on pretty much 24/7). My mouse uses the Duracell Ultra's (the ones that cost more and last longer) and it lasts about 3-5 months most of the time. Always take the batteries out of your mouse if you won't use it for a day or two.
Allright, thanks grunt, i figured the mouse will take more batteries since the laser is always on, so i'll just buy better batteries for it.
I've been using a micorsoft keyboard and mouse (yeah i'm, sorry i know) but i've been using them since mid summer with the same batteries still.
I don't have a wireless keyboard, but do have a wireless mouse from logitech.
I use 2 bateries ever 3 weeks.
is it really a mouse, if it doesnt have a cord? considering it got its name from having the cord (tail).. mind boggling..
Have you tried using the more expensive Duracell Ultras or the Energizer equal of them? They will probably save you money in the long run. They do for my mouse at any rate.Quote:

Give a try to rechargeable batteries, save some bucks.
there's always a reason for chopping off the tails :DQuote:

And as usual, it's the Brits who are to blame for the nastiness behind the doggerel.
And for those who HAVE to know :

Wireless keyboards are a bastard to get into safemode with .
Really? Mine does fine. Mine acts exactly like a normal keyboard, the wireless part of it is done before anything gets to the comp.
I worked on a pc recently with a creative wireless keyboard and mouse. The base unit was out of sight. [doh]could not see the little button on it[/doh]
No amount of button pressing and shouting, come on you m%**^r f3**r. Would let me get to safe mode.
I, ReadTFM after i had ripped the wireless stuff out and replaced with not wirless. I'm still pissed off thats why they are bastards.:)
That sucks... I have NEVER had a problem with logitech wireless stuff... Works great, never had a single issue other than getting extra hotkeys and such to work with *nix systems (though I could care less about that for the most part). I would recomend LOGITECH wireless equipment to anyone, no worries.
