Are you using a dial-up modem or dsl modem?
DSL Modem. I just got this laptop and it says that there is that type of modem? Oh for wireless modems probably, I've never seen 56k on a wireless router; seeing how noone I know has 56k.
You can't go wireless using dial up.Anyway..I suppose you are running XP.Have you checked if your wireless adapter is installed under Device Manager? If it is installed, you might just wanna remove some uneccessary adapters on the device manager window. Is your wireless configured already? What kind of router and wireless adapter do you use?
