1/ Dorg, ACE, 9yrs Pembroke Corgi, now called "Dopey" , his hearing is poor and responds to the "Duh" sound better.
2/ Dorg, Peppie, 3yrs, bitch, also called "shithead", Foxie- jack Russel cross, thankful not a 180lb Rottie or I would be in trouble.. Licks any one she meet in the face, after cleaning up certain waste products in the yard.
3/ Cat, Smokie, 8yrs, thinks its a Dorg, also called "Speed bump", not because he is in the road, but because he has been used as one on a few occasions.. Got that name after his third visit to the vet..
4/ Guinea pig, Jessie, 6yrs, constant amusement for the other 3..
WTF? :DQuote:
2. Chuck.......son.......even a bigger in the butt

The only problem with that is they try their darnest to come back home :p
I had a friend, back when I was in the Army, who went on leave to see his parents.................But they had moved and not got round to telling him. He spent most of his two weeks leave trying to track them down :D ..............................Even funnier, I think, is when he finaly found where the had moved to. His Father took him for a drink in the new local pub. To appologise and ask him to be best man at their wedding, his father and mothers wedding that is. He had lived his life thus far and did not know his mom and dad were not married :o :DQuote:

What the hell is that? My Jack Russell does that too. We adopted him from a pet shelter, and my vet suggested that maybe it was a habit he picked up when he was homeless, eating anything he could find....but now you and BlackIce say your dogs do it too. It makes me wanna :chuck: everytime he gets up in my face and has poo-breath.Quote:

Like I said before my daughters have a fish named nemo...but I did promise them ( a long time ago ) when they reached 4 ft tall they could have another pet...my oldest wants a rabbit, only we live in an apartment that doesn't allow rabbits...soooo....does anybody know of a fish with fur and big ears...I really need to know !!! :D
Rabbits swim .............
It all depends on how deep the water is..........
If you have a tank that is three foot deep, then the rabbits will swim three feet :)
Actually I left out a few of my pets....Egaladeist, have you ever considered turtles? I have Red Ear Sliders, right now they're about 4 inches across. I've had them over a year, and they've grown less than an inch, which is a normal growth rate for them. I've been told that they can live for 100 years and reach a pretty huge size...but I figure in 100 years, it'll be my grandkids problem, not mine! :D They live in an aquarium, and we feed them turtle food that we get from the pet store, plus some veggies sometimes. They're extremely easy to care for, and they're a lot more fun than fish. Mine all stick their little heads out of the water and climb on the rocks when I walk in the room with them, and are genuinely happy to see me, which is more affection than I ever got from a damn fish. ;)
They may be a happy compromise for your kids.
I have a dog and two cats..
The dog is a female English Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Yuki (white and black (flamed with red))
The cats are european short haired cats, a male and female.
The male cat is called Mushi and is black and white (cow like pattern)
The female cat is called Nanuka and is brown tabby (tiger like pattern)
That's a very good idea...I'll do that ! But this causes me some concern...because I must be getting old and losing my memory...I had turtles as a kid ( painted turtles ) and until you mentioned it, it never even crossed my mind...of course I never did have a good memory to begin with...errrr....what were we talkin' about...oh....that's right ...errr...nope forgot again...sigh! :DQuote:

Snakes I like..feed em' once a week...remove droppings about the same...very easy to care for! When I was a teenager I had a Rainbow boa from Costa Rica ( middle-sized boa: adult 6 ft), it would shine like a rainbow in the sun...and a Trantula (ghad..their cages stink with all those carcases of dead crickets)...and I'm allergic to pet hair so a snake made a perfect pet...Quote:

but I think I'll stick with deb on this one and go for the turtles...and if it don't work out...hey, "turtle soup"...BONUS...especially if there's a famine!!!
:D
