stats

when i go to www.antionline.com/stats.php, and click on the profiles, i hardly ever get the profiles of the member listed... weird. :cool:

Actually they seem to change.............I am now Tiger Shark or Pecosian? (must be a case of identity theft? :) )

I also notice that the weekly top +/- Ap earners tables don't link at all. You get the message "user has not registered"

More out of curiosity than anything else, has any progress been made?

My interest is because I deal quite a bit with databases so sorting, reporting and metadata problems attract my attention.............I feel that I might learn something here?

Links are finally fixed on the stats page.

Update on the stats page: I've added some additional lists, most of the Top 10 lists from the front page. This is in part in response to the request to bring back the "10 newest members" list, which was made in one of the threads about the thread bumping problem.

Also, the stats page is now cached, created once every 10 minutes. This should remove a potentially big hit from the server, while keeping the stats up-to-date enough to be useful.

How about this: can we replace the "Website Status" area of the front page with a link to the stats page? It should speed up the rendering time for the home page, and unclutter it a bit as well.

Yeah that'd be okay IMO. Since the stats page isn't lagging that much anymore, thats would be good....

I think that would be alright, except it is probably to the site's advantage to have the number of people online somewhere on the front page.
